Summary: This Extra-Large Seascape home offers panoramic ocean views! This is a second story, single level unit with breathtaking ocean views from the living room and both bedrooms-enjoy the ocean air from both private balconies! Large corner unit in the North Bluff section of the renowned Seascape Beach Resort in Aptos, CA. The Space: Located on the second story with access by a few small sets of stairs-step into this single level condo, one of the largest 2-bedroom units Seascape has to offer. And arguably one of the most outstanding views! Enter to find a fully stocked kitchen that includes a full-sized fridge, microwave, stovetop range and oven, dishwasher, toaster, teapot, and a drip coffee pot! Light and bright with stainless appliances-enjoy making your favorite meal and then enjoy it on the full-sized dining room table or on the private balcony outside. The large open living room offers cross seating on two full sized couches and two comfy chairs. Perfect for nights in to play games or watch your favorite movie on the large screen tv hanging above the fireplace. Two tastefully decorated bedrooms provide ample space to spread out. Plenty of storage in the dresser and closet for your personal belongings. Both upgraded bathrooms have large counter space, one with a step-in shower and the other with a step-in tub/shower combo. The master includes a king-sized bed and private balcony. An in unit stackable washer is included. Guest Access: PROPERTY ACCESS: The property is on lockbox and accessible anytime. We will send out the check in instructions the day before you arrive. You can expect to receive them via you booking platform's messaging system. FREE AMENITIES: Use of the North Bluff Pool; access with your guest code - we provide pool/beach towels in your unit. Use of beach and any open firepit (fires are allowed on the sand). Use of lobby round seating area at fireplace. Use of walking paths and overlook benches. Use of the gym is available for an additional fee (to be paid on-site). Concierge services, front desk services, towel service, access to staff operated golf carts, $250 bonfire pit rentals and $75 smores packages are not available to private renters. Build a fire on the sand! Its one of the few California beaches you can still do this-supplies are available at the Village across the street. The Neighborhood: Located just south of Santa Cruz off Highway 1, Seascape Beach Resort gorgeous accommodations overlooking the Monterey Bay. You'll find the comforts of home; each accommodation has a kitchen and gas-burning fireplace with a beach home feeling, which is why Seascape is unlike any other Monterey Bay resort. With 17 miles of Monterey Bay beach to explore, spacious all-suites accommodations, delicious fine dining, and a full range of activities to choose from, Seascape is the premier Santa Cruz luxury resort. Seascape provides everything to make your Santa Cruz lodging experience memorable, including a host of resort options and both free and paid amenities. It all adds up to being one of the best Monterey Bay resort destinations you'll experience. Getting Around: Complimentary parking is available outside the unit and throughout the resort property. All on-site amenities are accessible by walking paths or if preferred by car. To access the beach at Seascape there is a walking path next to the main lodge that leads down to the ocean where you will have beach access. NOTE: the walk out is the same way back UP to the resort. The Seascape Village is just across from the Resort and can be accessed by walking. The quaint town of Aptos is just over three miles away-about a 10-minute drive. Capitola Village is about 8 miles away and can be reached by car in less than 15 minutes. Other Things to Note: This is a single-story unit located on the second floor with exterior stairs to the front door (there are a few small groups of stairs with a landing between that lead up to the front door)! There are no daily housekeeping services. The property is cleaned before arrival and after departure. We provide hand soap, dish soap, dish towels, hand towels, bath towels, wash cloths, paper towels and toilet paper. 3-in-1 shower wash is provided. A cleaning kit is located under the kitchen sink for cleaning up spills or tidying up during your stay (please do not use premier towels or linens to wipe up spills). On Site Amenities: Sanderlings Restaurant and bar are available for dine in or pick-up. North Bluff pool and hot tub is accessible by using your guest code, pool/beach towels are provided to guests in the unit. Use of bike rentals and the full gym are available for an additional fee (to be paid on-site). Seascape has outside video cameras in public spaces throughout the property. Concierge services, front desk services, access to golf carts are not available to private renters. $250 Bonfires booked through the front desk in the cement pits on the beach are not available, but you are welcome to build your own in the sand - supplies can be purchased across the street at Seascape Market or any other grocery store in the area. NOTE: Please be aware that due to cooler climate experienced from ocean breezes, properties in Santa Cruz County, especially near the coast, typically do not have air conditioning. We've stayed at the Seascape several times but the location of this condo is the best. I wasn't expecting the whales to put on a show but they certainly did and we soaked it all in. The mattress in the master bedroom was a bit firm for my liking but not bad enough to make me not go back. The house was fully loaded and the balconies are a definite plus. Unfortunately the weather was very cool with little sunshine so we didn’t fully utilize the resort itself. The water pressure in the shower was very good. The extra large screen made it nice for watching a movie together in the spacious living room. Check in and check out was easy. Jane was responsive to our questions. We stayed for a week--the condo had everything we needed and a beautiful view of the ocean. Everything was easy and the host quick to communicate. The resort itself was great with access to many amenities. The best part for us was the location. We were very close to Santa Cruz, Capitola, and Monterey but not in the middle of the crowds. This was a much more relaxed location in a beautiful area but still with access to everything. We took day trips up and down the coast but were able to visit local shops, beaches, and restaurants within a 10 minute drive. We really loved Aptos and other nearby towns. The unit was perfect to share with the other couple that joined us on this 3-night getaway. It was a very clean & comfortable apartment on the second floor. The view was beautiful & each bedroom had access to the balcony. We spent a lot of time sitting out there to take full advantage of the ocean view! Good communication with our host. Sadly, the pool & jacuzzi were closed for maintenance during our stay but that didn’t stop us from having an excellent & relaxed time with friends. We agreed that we would happily stay here again! We had a great time and will definitely stay again. Couple of things, we noticed that the unit smelled of marijuana when we first stepped into the unit. We noticed someone next door smoking it and with the doors open the smell really came into our unit. Also, the smoke detector in one of the bedrooms kept beeping so we had to take the battery out so we could sleep. But, all in all we had a great stay and will be back! ##### Bernardo G. First evening we could stand on the balcony and watch whales spouting offshore. No need to go on a whale watching trip! Since it is located on a bluff, takes a while to get down to the beach but if you are walking limited you can request (hire?) to have a golf cart take you down there.
