"If you like to be away from the madding crowd, but within easy reach of it, this is the place for you. There is a fantastic and dramatic off road 6 minute drive from the main road to the house which is perched in isolation on the top of the hill with spectacular “Siena Hills” type views. "This place is right up high in uniquely beautiful countryside. It takes some getting to but is utterly worth it. The buildings are very atmospheric and the views were simply outstanding. The accommodation has all you really need and even a pool. Go in September to try the figs/plums/grapes. Don't miss the quail and other wildlife. Me and my son James loved it and will return soon."
