"Exactly what I expected from the pictures and had everything we needed. We watched dolphins swim pass the pier , beautiful birds , cranes,pelicans,sea birds land in the beautiful grasses. Fished and released a few fish as well as blue crabs. Old Florida feel"

"Peaceful beach setting. Small town feel. If you want to go to the beach to relax and perhaps fish, this is the area. Not a party beach. We were there in early May. Older crowd. Actually, no crowds. Very quiet. Private beach. Lovely."

"This year we flew into Atlanta to visit my son and daughter-in-law and then we all headed out to St. George Island. We had recommendations from someone who stayed in Appalachicola but once we saw barrier island we had to try it. The community is fabulous; all the stores, restaurants you need but no huge development. Beach Bum Cottages were small but comfortable and well-equipped. The beach was across the street for swimming, walking and star gazing. The pool was heaven. A great value! Property...

"My husband, daughter and dog stayed at Tucked In for spring break. House was immaculate, very comfortable - felt like home. Called maintenance because there was no hose to wash the dog and a brand new hose was delivered within thirty minutes. Excellent stay!"

"Super clean and well stocked house minutes from the public beach. It was a great escape for us and we enjoyed staying here. Port St. Joe is so much quieter than PCB but still plenty of restaurants and shopping if you desire. We had a little trouble with the gate codes but received helped shortly after asking. Overall a great getaway!"

"Our families booked 8 different cottages in Barefoot Cottages. We had such a good time making new memories here. The space and accommodations were perfect. The owners were very responsive to any of our questions and very helpful. We loved staying here!"

"We had a great time. Our house had everything we needed and more. The location was just right-close to the beach, but far enough away. Small, adorable towns in every direction. Food trucks, outdoor food and drink, great bbq and seafood. We grilled, had camp fires. If you just want to chill, this is the place!"

The cottage itself easily slept the four of us, there was free coffee and snacks, it was very clean, decorated tastefully, and had everything we could have asked for, including beach towels, olive oil, and a grill.(we got steaks from the nearby Piggly Wiggly). The location was within walking distance of everything we wanted to see and do in Apalachicola, so we never had to drive anywhere. We had coffee on the porch, took a nap...

"Perfect place for my family including our 3 month old granddaughter. Owner has put a lot of thought and work into this home making it very guest friendly. The pool was used a lot and outdoor area around it is very nice. We rented a golf cart for our party of 6 and it made it real easy for two block ride to beach. Highly recommend Feelin Froggy."
