The hotel is right next to the Shin-Aomori train station, a 7-minute train ride from Aomori. It served its purpose perfectly. We arrived early, left our luggage and took the train to Aomori. Came back after the festival, the luggage was already in our room. The room was comfortable and the next day we continued by train to the festival in Akita. Check in not until 4p. Check out 10am. Had to fight for my bicycle to stay with me, even through they didn't have a secure room to store it. Not worth the money saved by staying here. Do yourself a favor and stay more in the center. 2 stars because staff was very kind. ##### Aric Stayed 1 night in Oct 2023 ### 6/10 Okay #### Si Min Serene May 5, 2024 Liked: Cleanliness Disliked: Staff & service We chose this hotel as it is the only one at Shin-Aomori Station and we wanted to stay near here as we were going to take the shinkansen after 2 days. However, while we had requested for a room on a higher floor, we were shocked to learn that we were assigned a room on the second floor upon check in. Staff were not very helpful at first and insisted that there were no rooms left when we requested for a room change. Only when we showed them that we had indeed put in a request for a higher floor that they reluctantly changed it for us. Breakfast was very simple and not a lot of options. Location was very convenient but this is the hotel's only plus point.
