Absolutely delightful.
Absolutely delightful. A bargain. The owner Nino was friendly, very helpful, and excellent restaurant recommendations. Our room had a beautiful view of the water. The rooftop terrace was perfect for the sunset.

Another great stay
This was our second stay here and we have already booked our third. Very friendly staff, nice rooms with a lovely view of the sea across the road. Good breakfast on the rooftop terrace where there is also a pool if you don’t fancy he beach.

Property has been receiving an extension building recently. Owner is running the structures. Breakfast is cool, our room was clean and pleasant even if a bad smell was constatybpresent maybe because of air filtering or something else not revised?

We liked our stay here. It's a nice location, close to Anzio Colonia train stop, right across the street from the ocean and on a wide sidewalk great for walking or going for a morning run. There are pizzerias and a great bakery near the train stop, or you can walk approx 1 mile for some great restaurants in downtown Anzio. Owners are very nice. Room was comfortable, and the wifi worked well. One note-you can't purchase train tickets at the Anzio Colonia train stop, so plan to get a round trip ticket, purchase online, or allow time to purchase at the local coffee shop if they're open.

Perfect short stay.
Perfect hotel for a short break. Good breakfast with a stunning sea view on the rooftop terrace. The pool on the rooftop was quite good too. The beach opposite the hotel is simply stunning

The hotel was a reasonable price for being right in front of the beach. The beach wasn't busy for the time of year we went, but was warm enough for us. Hotel was clean, had a roof pool, and the breakfast provided was good. I was woken up once by a guest above me however that has less to do with the hotel and more to do with the guest. Downtown Anzio is about 2 km walk from cafes, restaurants, and bars. Which was nothing for the amount we walked on this trip.

A charming hotel with exceptional staff
The room was pretty basic but the staff, view from the roof, and breakfast made it a great start to our Italian vacation. We couldn't speak Italian but the staff were able to figure out what we needed and went above and beyond to accommodate us. One of my best mornings was sitting on the roof drinking coffee overlooking the sea side. One of my best evenings was swimming on the rooftop having a drink.

Lovely terrace in the city center
Spent one night in Rome with friends. Very friendly hotel staff, both at front desk and breakfast. Lovely terrace. Close to shopping, restaurants, bars, tourist attractions, gardens, etc. (walking distance)

Not the best area to stay in Anzio
This hotel was not value for money. It was over-priced considering the number of ordinary things about the room - beds cheap and hard, broken bedside lamp, hairdryer that worked some times and not others, light switches that didn't operate any lights, shower doors jamming, bright balcony light that wouldn't turn off. The location is poor - if you want to experience the best of Anzio stay down near the port. Having said that, the pool is a nice space, and breakfast on the roof is generous and served in a nice location.

great hotel, right on the beach
Nino, the host, was excellent. goes above and beyond to make your stay perfect. the AC was so excellent on such a hot day. the roof top pool was gorgeous, parking was free just across or in front of hotel, breakfast was superb! i would definitely stay at l'approdo again, and recommend it as the only place to stay in Anzio, italy.

Modern, recently updated hotel across from sea.
Modern, updated hotel run and accompanying staff. Hotel is family owned and operated. Family goes out of way to assist you. Breakfast was fresh each morning. There were several meats, cheeses, fruits, cereals, juices, breads, cakes and fresh croissants from which to make your choices. We forgot beach towels and owners shared some with us. The staff made travel reservations for us and offered local restaurant names as well. Our room was clean. Sea views and balcony were great.

Updated hotel close to beach
L'approdo is a family run hotel with updated rooms and conveniences. Roof top pool is great place to relax. There is a separate lounge deck with a beautiful view of the sea. The owners go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. If you need something, just ask and they will either provide or advise where to go. The morning breakfast was fresh and delicious. Croissants tasted like they had just been baked. The sea and beach access is directly across the street. Town is about 10m away by taxi and owners helped to make transportation arrangements. Renovations continue as the owners execute their plans. While we were there, the fountain in front of hotel was turned on for the first time and it was fun to be part of the families celebration as the fountain lights and water turned on for the first time.

Anzio hotel
Stayed one night. Hotel & room were spotless. Owners very friendly.Only downside was any place for dinner was about a 5" drive and parking in Anzio is not easy. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a stop over hotel for us. The town was a pleasant harbour town with nice shops and a good choice of fish restaurants. The hotel room was a little on the small side but it was clean and had everything you needed. We were on the front so there was a little road noise in the morning. The hotel was currently undergoing refurbishment whilst we were there and you could see that in the future it had the potential to be a modern well decorated hotel.

The staff was outstanding; however, there are few services in the immediate area. A 1,2 kilometer walk in the rain is far from ideal. Many renovations are underway and look very promising for the season.

Wonderfull place to stay.
Very nice and clean hotel. Family run and all quite helpfull with services and information. A 20-30 min beach front walk into Anzio. Sidewalks are bit rough until you get to town. Roof top pool and patio is quite nice with great views of the ocean. Breakfast on the patio is a great plus. A few food options close by, but they are fantastic!

This hotel manages to pull off a refined feel paired with the relaxation of the beach area. It's a bit of a walk to the main part of town, but the super-sweet owners offered us use of their bikes and a great breakfast to give us the energy to use them! Beautiful sea views from room and breakfast area.

The hotel is located a bit outside of town on the beach front. Spent a lot of time by the rooftop pool which had an amazing view. The room was on the smaller side and didn’t leave much space for bags etc. Breakfast was good

In vergleichsweise ruhiger Gegend gelegenes Hotel mit Meerblick und Pool auf der Dachterrase, auf der auch morgens das Frühstücksbuffet serviert wird. Freundliche Angestelle die einem auch den frisch zubereiteten Kaffee an die Poolliege bringt - so macht Entspannen Spaß!

Io e mio marito abbiamo trascorso due notti presso l'hotel che si trova sulla litoranea fronte mare. All'esterno, specialmente di notte, attira l'attenzione per le luci blu che circondano i balconi..sembra la tipica struttura di un hotel a Miami.La nostra camera al secondo piano laterale era molto pulita,molto confortevole e moderna. I proprietari sono deliziosi, gentilissimi e disponibili. La colazione molto ricca e variegata per tutti i gusti. Insomma la mia valutazione per questo hotel è più che positiva e lo consiglio agli amanti del mare, anche d'inverno.

Litet hotell vid havet. Bara en gata mellan strand & hotell. Inte superhårt trafikerad gata. Fin strand nära. Inga restauranger inom gångavstånd. Men 5 minuter med bil fanns massor av härliga fiskrestauranger. Relativt slitet men väldigt rent & fräscht. Underbar pool & utsikt över havet. Väldigt hjälpsam personal. Frukosten var väl ok men inga nyttiga alternativ. Allt förpackat i små plastförpackningar. Hade kunnat ha mindre utbud men färre alternativ.

Fint hotell en bit utanför Anzio centrum. Väldigt fina rum, men små. Otroligt fin takterrass och väldigt bra service från de som jobba där även om engelskan kanske inte var den bästa. Lite långt att gå in till Anzio ca 25min. Nära strand som ligger rätt över gatan.

Solides Hotel mit sehr unterschiedlichen Zimmern
Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer mit Balkon gebucht. Wenn man sich die Bilder ansieht, na dann kann man einen Balkon erwarten auf dem zwei Personen zumindest sitzen können. Leider war unser Balkon so klein, dass dies bereits für eine Peron schwierig war. ES war er sehr hellhörig. Das Badezimmer wirkte abgewohnt, aber sauber. Das Zimmer in blauen Farben gehalten wirkte sehr eng und klein. Das Frühstück war übersichtlich. Aber nun die schönen Erlebnisse: Das Personal war sehr freundlich, wenn auch nur mit sehr bescheidenden Englisch-Kenntnissen. Der Kaffee zum Frühstück war sehr lecker. Die Dachterrasse und der Pool, wirklich auch sehr gelungen. Es hat uns dort sehr gut gefallen. Würde ich nochmal nach Anzio fahren, würde ich dieses Hotel evtl. wiederwählen.
