We really loved being at the Bally Robin! Property is charming, clean and well maintained. Staff are friendly and very eager to assist. Dining options are varied and portions are filling. We love how willing all staff were to go above and beyond in their service. We will definitively be staying here again especially as it is assessable to the airport and transport options readily available. Totally recommend 👌

The room was large and very comfortable.Good bathroom and shower. The food was very disappointing and average at best. The food was pricey for the mediocre quality. Would stay here again as an airport stopover but definitely would eat somewhere else.

The place is a mile away from airport. So, the only drawback is the flight take off. Otherwise, good place to stay, reasonable, good breakfast option and very friendly staff.

The room was lovely and clean, apart from the snail on the wall. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had an issue with the shower leaking over floor and then flush stopped working on the toilet.

Excellent for a one stay near the airport. Shuttle to and from the terminal worked perfectly. The room was very comfortable and of a good standard. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. A small negative about the quality of the cooked breakfast, but alternatives were fine.

The hotel was comfortable, clean, the bed was great as it was big!! The staff were really helpful, but our main issue was how to get from the airport to the hotel. It's literally just over a mile, walkable distance but the road is too busy to walk along, no buses stop nearby and the taxis weren't too happy about taking us due to the short distance. Definitely need to sort out means of transport if you're not arriving by car, we hired one in the end!

The entire staff was friendly and helpful. We appreciated being able to dine on site. Considering it was on a busy road and that it is very close to the airport, it was surprisingly quiet and had a serene, country feel. We would have liked some healthier food choices such as fruit on the breakfast buffet and grilled meats and vegetable on the lunch/dinner menu. We would also have appreciated either a fan or other climate control in our room. It got pretty warm some days and the only way to cool the room was to open the window, which wasn't quite cool enough. We did appreciate the space heater we found in the closet for cooler nights. The tub/shower design allowed an awfully lot of water to spill over into the floor which seemed a safety hazard. However, overall, it was a very pleasant stay. We would not hesitate to stay there again or to recommend it to others.

It's gone downhill
The Ballyrobin Country Lodge was a superb place to stay. Very sadly it is now called the Ballyrobin Hotel, I'm assuming after a change of owner and it's just not the same. The food is nowhere near as good as it used to be, the menu is far more average and the cleanliness isn't what it was. The toilet and shower in my room were a long way from hygienic! I'm hugely disappointed as this was one of my favourite places to stay but I won't be staying again.

The food was not very good. We didnt eat most of the dinner we ordered because it was just unedible. It presented itself as a bed and breakfast but it isnt. Its a commerical hotel. The bed was comfortable but that was the only good part of our stay.
