"Basically stumbled on these beautifully built, spotlessly clean and very comfortable cabanas. Nice private forest trails for wildlife with gardens and bird watching platforms on the property. It's clear they are making constant improvements (particularly focused on birding groups) and it will only get better with time. "We stayed here when we arrived at the airport at midnight. We contacted the hotel via Whatsapp and they sent someone to pick us up. The fee was for the ride and not per person. The hotel was prompt in responding and the driver came in about 10 minutes. It was a relief to be driven safely to the hotel late at night and arrive to a friendly receptionist who took us to our room. The room was basic but pristinely clean. They provided ample shampoo and soap. I would highly recommend to anyone who needs basic, clean, and safe accommodations near the airport. The wifi was good too. "

"I would highly recommend Hacienda El Porvenir! The lodge and the amenities were impeccable. The staff was extremely welcoming, friendly very attentive to our needs and spoke fluent English. Mateo and Michele were the best! In the restaurant, Annie and Lady were very pleasant and great servers. Miguel guided our horseback trip, which was the highlight of our trip! We love the food, the accommodations, and the spa. Despite it rugged vintage appearance, we were so surprised to have a high-tech Japanese toilet with so many features in our bathroom. If you are planning a trip to Cotopaxi, you absolutely have to stay here!"
