Plenty shops and restaurants in the vicinity. The house is old but because of this it is very charming, but if you are used to all the modern luxeries than it is not for you. The beds/matrasses are very good. This is not always the case in rental vacation homes. There is an outside sitting area which is covered, so even when it is raining you can sit ourside. Die überdachte Terrasse hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Leider roch es etwas muffig als wir das Haus betraten und es dauerte ein paar Tage bis der Geruch einigermaßen weg war.Das liegt vielleicht daran das es ein altes Haus is oder vor uns niet vermietet war und somit nicht gelüftet wurde.Im Wohnzimmer roch es sehr stark nach dem Ofen, was wir nicht angenehm fanden. Wir haben das Wohnzimmer darum auch nicht benutzt und die Tür geschlossen gelassen. Der Fernseher tat es nicht, wäre schön gewesen für das EK Endspiel. Wir hätten den Vermieter anrufen können, haben das aber nicht getan, wir wollten doch nicht Fernsehen. Queichhambach scheint ein Durchfahrtort zu sein, die Straße war deutlich zu hören und das ab 6:00 Uhr in der Früh. Vielleicht sollten die Fotos in der Anzeige mal erneuert werden. Das Haus und der Garten haben sich im Laufe der Jahre verändert. Der Stil und das passende Mobiliar erinnert in der Tat an eine kleine Villa in der Toscana. Eines der Bäder liegt ebenerdig, hängt mit der Sauna zusammen und ist sehr großzügig geschnitten. Im Garten lädt eine kleine Sitzecke zu einem "Pfälzer Schoppen" ein. Lediglich der defekte Toaster ist eine leicht abzustellende Petitesse. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. ##### Holger B. Ich war nahezu 4 Wochen Gast in diesem Ferienhaus: das neue Zuhause noch nicht fertig, die alte Wohnung gekündigt, also wohnen und arbeiten auf Zeit. Glücklicherweise war dieses Haus frei. Ein toller Gastgeber, ein tolles Haus mit viel Platz und eine tolle Umgebung. Und in 4 Wochen entdeckt, bzw erlebt man die Vor- und Nachteile. Es steht da zwar, dass man optional die Maisonettewohnung dazu buchen kann, aber nicht wie (ja klar, mehr Personen). Mir war vor allem nicht klar, dass wenn ich mit zwei Personen mehr als ein Schlafzimmer nutzen möchte, ich es für einen Aufschlag von weiteren 180 EUR dazu buchen muss. Wer als Paar üblicherweise getrennt schläft, wird hier unliebsam überrascht, wenn bei Buchung für zwei Personen nur ein Schlafzimmer zur Verfügung steht. Der Rest ist nicht zugänglich und der Vermieter nicht sehr flexibel. Der Verweis auf die ausziehbare Wohnzimmercouch als Option fand ich beim Preis für 180 EUR die Nacht wirklich schmal. 180 EUR, auch an Ostern, ist nicht geschenkt und dafür hätte ich beim Mieten eines Hauses auch mehr als ein Schlafzimmer erwartet. Das ist ein fetter Malus und hat den Kurzaufenthalt wirklich vermiest. Blumengiessen, Fische füttern pp sind geschenkt. Preis- Leistung stehen bei diesem Haus mit nur einem Schlafzimmer wirklich nicht im Verhältnis. Das große Bad mit Sauna im Keller ist schön, rechtfertigt aber auch nicht den Preis. Die angeblich durchschn. 120 EUR pro Nacht konnte ich bei Probebuchungen zu verschiedenen Zeiten im Jahr nicht erreichen. Fazit: Nicht nochmal, vor allem nach dem Vermieterkontakt. ##### Beate P. Sind zu sechst mit Hund gut untergekommen. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und sicher auch für lange Aufenthalte geeignet. Generell haben wir uns recht wohl gefühlt. Die Küche/ der Essplatz ist gleichzeitig Eingangsbereich und dadurch zusätzlich beengt Top - der Fernseher, die Literatur, die vielen CDs Hop - das viel gepriesene Chaiselongue ist durchgesessen und das Sofa zu weit vom Fernseher entfernt und auch nicht gerade bequem Top - das Schlafzimmer, wenn Mensch Nostalgie mag Top - die vielen Zeichnungen, Accessoires und lauschigen Plätze Hop - der Teich ist so verschleimt, dass einem die Fische erbarmen, die von uns gefuttert werden sollten Top - die vielen nützlichen Kleinigkeiten, die gefunden werden von dem der sie braucht und sucht... (Steckleisten, Kerzen, Klebeband, Batterien für die Fernbedienung, Hammer, Wattestäbchen, Decken, Stuhlauflagen und vieles mehr) Hop - Vor der Eingangstür sind Glastüren verbaut, sie scharren am Holzboden. Gerne saßen wir noch abends auf der Terrasse, um uns über unsere Touren in der wunderbaren Umgebung auszutauschen. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war sehr angenehm und seine Tipps bzgl.
