Unfortunately, the property itself did not meet expectations and was not as described in the listing.The house shows significant wear and was put together with low-quality materials and workmanship. While the linens were clean, most other areas were not. The floors were very dirty. It quickly became a “slippers only” situation and walking barefoot left our feet black. There was sand on an end table, dried pasta sauce on the kitchen table, and several dirty pans in the kitchen. We also found a large grasshopper inside and mouse droppings on a window sill.There were a few safety concerns as well, including a loose back door threshold and an unstable stair nose on the landing to the second floor.The surrounding neighborhood felt unsafe, with noise and shouting through the night, and there was no furniture on the front porch, which seemed to reflect that. The interior lacked natural light and any warmth in decor, giving it a very sterile feel.Overall, the property was not as described and is priced far too high for the quality and condition of the home.
