When I reached out to the owners to see what happened, they changed the listing in the middle of our messaging. We had to scramble late at night to find a hotel that would actually work with our group. We never stayed at the house.Even worse, the owners only refunded us for our second night and kept the rental amount for the first night, so I had to get VRBO involved. Luckily, I had screenshots of the previous listing as proof.The owners accused us of having more people than what we booked with, which is not true (only 3 people were ever in the house - we told the other two not to come because we were going to have to find another place).Thankfully, VRBO stepped up and refunded us for the rest AND paid for all of our hotel for the weekend. Great customer service, VRBO!The house is nice, but I recommend looking for another place if possible. ##### Greg B. I want to be her friend in RL, they also do amazing wellness retreats in the Yucatan. Check-in was a breeze, tons of off-street parking, and little thoughtful treats/snacks in the home for guests.
