Staying in this hotel is painful. I was there for 5 nights for visa purposes as this hotel is close to a series of embassy in Ankara. My biggest complaint is the staff which are careless and dont speak a word other than Turkish. As far as I am concerned, this is hotel where foreigners are most likely to be present. Imagine any situation or questions you have during your stay or at check in: where is breakfast? The AC is not working? Is there any restaurant open close by? Where is downtown? What's the code for internet? Well you better have your patience as each one of them IF answered might take a good 10-15 minutes. I'm trilingual and I dont work in a touristic environment. I;m from Quebec where you will always get service in several languages in hotels/restaurants. Coming here and have the not understand that I want to extend for 3 nights as it is a challenge for them to understand the word "3" is beyond believe. I'll stop there for the staff as I could carry on for 3000 words on that issue.
Beds are terrible, waking up each morning with my back aching is reality over there. Breakfast is insalubre, they just cover the food in "saran wrap" and unwrap it next morning right off the buffet table. Restaurant is always empty for lunch and dinner, one night I ask for a burger as it was the only thing I could get them to understand from the menu only to find that the answer was "no burger" followed by "burger problem". Back at square 1.
