Nice atmosphere. Only thing on a negative note was the pool wasn’t available for use, under maintenance during my stay, which I wish I would have known before booking. Booked a family room. Bed, room size and staff is ok. However, we didn't feel safe in the room. Windows have sliding glass doors with defective locks. Toilet is old and not well maintained, cabinets are so dusty, sink in the kitchen has some cockroach poops, found 2 baby cockroaches on the floor and spider webs around the ceiling. There's also 1 room inside that's locked and we all didn't feel comfortable on it. They told me that the guard that has been with the property for 2 years was really rude to my dad. He was on his phone and wouldn't answer them about a parking question. My sister even overheard him say that since they were the ones who need something, they should be the one to come up to him. He was the security guard! He should attend to the guests who are parking but instead he shouted at them and insisted that my dad was on the wrong. 3 stars for service and staff because the other hotel staff were great. Minus 2 is for the security guard on April 7 at 1am after day 1 of Aurora festival.
