Just minutes to hike & bike trails, golf course, & playground. Easy walk to the lake for canoeing and fishing. Also convenient to horseback riding, sleigh and carriage rides and even a chuck wagon. Minutes to ski and tubing in Angel Fire, 45 min. to Taos, 30 min. to Red River. Experience the great outdoors in the mountains. Lots of wildlife mingling around...saw many, many deer and even a few bears... so lock your cars because apparently they know how to open the door (we know from experience) !! The house is nice, a bit date in some areas, but overall a great place for a family get together. It slept 6 adults and 6 kids comfortably and had all the amenities needed. Only negative was a ceiling leak in one of the bedrooms that we alerted the owner of but unfortunately not fixed during our stay so we were unable to use that bedroom, hence a couple kids had to climb in with mom and dad. ##### Steve B. The split levels were great too - after skiing hard the last thing you want is a lot of stairs lol. Zero issues. Note: 4x4 a must if snow is on the ground - fairly steep driveway… ##### Terry B. The two living areas were perfect to entertain both the kids and adults. Two soak in tubs made warming up easy. The snow was perfect for our visit and the adults and kids both enjoyed the sleds that were provided. The owners were very responsive but to be honest we didn’t need anything the house was well stocked. I would highly recommend this property. ##### Debi K. Beautiful cabin inside and out! We went in December and enjoyed the amazing scenery and outside amenities. Close to town and the resort. The hosts were quick to respond to my questions.
