We enjoyed the stay at this cabin. The cabin was clean and as described in the listing . Communications with the owner was good . easy checkin process.
My husband and I and two other couples stayed in this breathtaking cabin for Our weekend at Snowbird wilderness outfitters. Only a few minutes away from Snowbird. Will definitely stay here again.
We were visiting family for Thanksgiving and this cabin was the best! Very cozy and clean. Gas fireplace is so nice, the property is beautiful and the fire pit was great for roasting marshmallows! We will be back
Had a great time spending the week here, close to town but far enough away to be in the woods

Impressive and relaxing getaway.
Very relaxing and overall great place to go to get away from everything and everyone. The master bedroom and bathroom were a great feature we really enjoyed the shower . Beautiful spa like jets .
Property was exceptionally clean and well maintained. We were impressed with the quality of the finishes and details. Loved the isolation from other properties. Very quiet and relaxing. Will definitely return. Great location to use as a base for day trips to local attractions and communities. Perfect for our week away
The cabin was spotlessly clean and well maintained, with up-to-date appliances and comfortable furnishings. The downstairs den/bedroom area was perfect for our older kids to have their own space. We all enjoyed relaxing on the wraparound porches. All the railings and stairs were in good condition, and safe for our younger kids. We had no cell signal, but the wi-fi was reliable. The property feels secluded and tranquil; ideal for a long weekend!
We had such an amazing time. Your house was absolutely beautiful up that long driveway tucked back in the woods. Plenty of room to sit on the wrap around porch in the rockers and visit with each other, drinking coffee or watching the wildlife cross the front yard! It was the perfect size for us and we probably spent more time out on the porch and around the firepit than in the house. Also close enough to buzz into town for anything.
Everything was clean and decorated so cute. The owner was quick to respond to any questions and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend this house for any visit.
My wife and I booked this cabin for a weekend getaway. We had never stayed in the area before and were looking for new places to explore. We could not have been happier! The cabin is perfect for a couple or two, and the area was perfect for us. Andrews is a small town, but is perfectly located for all kinds of mountain activities and just about anything you need can be found in Murphy, about 15 minutes away. Sue was a pleasure to work with and answered all my questions very quickly. We will definitely be staying here again.

Very nice place
I read in the comments everyone’s talking about the shower. Well it is worth talking about. It was amazing. We have 3 little ones and they had their own shower so to speak. My husband and I were able to take one together and had plenty of room and our own shower head. The bed was really comfortable and that’s always a plus. The fire pit was used only once but we did sit out there every evening. Our kids had a blast running around and playing. When we arrived Su and Her husband was fixing the drive way so we could get up to the cabin. There had been a lot of rain and some of the road needed fixing. They were so nice. We did some hiking in the area and checked out a few things a couple of hours away. We all had a great time.
Great location . Cabin very clean. Owners. Very responsive with communication. Board games , corn hole. Fire pit all nice to have use of, it was nice for our 2 girls to have their own room on level one , older daughter second level and our room on the third level . Double outside porches great to use for morning coffee watching the wild turkeys .. Great place would certainly stay here again.
I worked at a summer camp in Andrews when I was in college. I wanted to get some of the guys together from the camp and have a small guys reunion. This house was the perfect place for what we had in mind: campfires, food, stories and sitting on the front porch. The sleeping situation was good as well.
Perfect set up for a group of 6-7 people.
The cabin was all we could ask for. Very secluded and very peaceful. Since we like to stay in for meals, it was great to have a gas stove. We used the master bedroom and bath and were comfortable in every way. Were able to use gas logs and it made everything real cozy. Couldn't ask for a better place to spend a long weekend.
It was everything we wanted. The property was located far from the road and any noise. We felt like we were far away but still had access to historic Andrews incase of groceries. The cabin was a great place for our family to be together to reconnect and decompress. The firepit was perfectly situated so you could warm up and watch the sunset. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals and having the dishwasher made clean up easy. Best part was that cell phone service was not that great. No disruptions or distractions. We really needed the peace and quiet and that is exactly what we got.
The pictures do not do this place justice, it’s so much prettier! Not too far from town, but very quiet and secluded. We had everything we needed for our fantastic weekend. Beds were super cozy and inside was very comfortable but especially loved the porches and patio space with the firepit. Wish we could have stayed longer! The only thing I would mention to future visitors is, the driveway is rather steep. Allwheel drive vehicles make it easy but others not so much.
Perfect spot to head out on your mountain adventures. Lots of space to hang out, relax, and enjoy the mountains. Absolutely the only negative was the cell service and WiFi was not the most reliable.
It is not often that you stay somewhere away from home, and you find it as clean and immaculate as your own house. Well this is that kind of place. The house and location are perfect for a relaxing vacation. Secluded yet close to town, in a very picturesque setting. My kids did not want to leave after our vacation was over....... If I could give it more than 5 stars I would.
We rented this cabin for 3 nights. It is a very clean cabin and has nice wrap-around decks to enjoy the views. You have great views of the mountains and wilderness from all sides. You will not see any other houses or cabins, but it is not too far from the main highway or civilization. We saw wild turkeys at a distance on two days. The master bed is in the loft and has great views. My wife and I enjoyed it thoroughly. The master bath body jets/shower are designed for two people to take showers simultaneously. But keep in mind the masterbed has no privacy of a door. We did not miss it one bit as a door/wall would have limited the views.
The layout is ideal for a large family. Masterbed/masterbath in the loft, one full bed with half bath at the main level, two twin beds in the lower level with full bath. More people can sleep on sofa/sofa beds in the main living room and gameroom in the basement.
Owner suggested a 4 wheel drive vehicle as the last 800 ft or so is on a steep incline. We did not have one. We made it up the first day with a steady climb with our 2wd suv (front wheel drive). But it snowed several inches that night. The owners (Sue and her husband) came next morning to check on us and offered to get us anything if did not want to venture out. That was very nice of them! After the snow melted and with rain, coming up with our vehicle was hard. So we left the vehicle at a landing about 600-800 ft from the cabin and walked up. It did not bother us as we enjoyed the climb and snow.
A few other things to note: 1) We also enjoyed the firepit and had the fire going while it was snowing. That was my dream! 2) satellite dish gave us plenty of channels, 3) cell phone reception is poor even if you use wifi calling. But owners provided a land line that was good, 4) wifi was good for basic texting and basic browsing. But speed/bandwidth is not high to allow hd movie streaming. 5) The living room sectional was detached to fit the room. It is comfortable, but the cushions kept moving as one side is open. May be the owners can fix velcro to keep cushions in place.
Overall we enjoyed the cabin thoroughly and hope to visit again in future!
