"The Lighthouse Villas has been our favorite place to stay when visiting Tortola. The host, Marcia and head house keeper, Simone are on top of things at any request you may have. They are special individuals ! The rooms, especially the upper level are best for fantastic views of the ocean/beach of Cane Garden bay. Let's not forget the pool's charm with outdoor salon area for relaxation. In a nutshell, this is the place to stay when visiting Tortola, close to everything you may need, in walking distance."

"This is such a special property, the location, the view, the rooms, the pool and most importantly management and communication. I had a great birthday with the family. Everyone had their own room and were comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need and the bathrooms as well. Lori, was such a great hostess and we left with beautiful memories. Everything was perfect. "

"This was our first trip staying on Tortola. Found the island to be friendly, relaxing and beautiful. Smugglers cove for snorkeling. And a delicious fish sandwich at Niguel’s Beach cafe. The roads for us, where a challenge and took time to get use to the switchbacks and steep roads. When we arrived by ferry to the West End , Jerry’s car rental did help us find our Makere Cottage up on hillside. We were thankful for this guidance as the roads were a challenge at first.What a magnificent view from above Cane Garden Bay. So peaceful. Sunsets spectacular. The home was clean and very comfortable. Once we opened the shutter windows, the breeze filled the house. And with the help of fans became comfortable. Didnt have much issues with bugs. We spent the next four days exploring the island. Hiked on Sage Mt. , enjoyed Brewers Bay Beach. Ocean was a little kicked up that day so snorkeling wasn’t clear. Restaurants around the island were good. Some better than others. Tina , the owner was very easy to communicate with. We spent evenings in the cottage , enjoying the view and nature sounds of the hillside. Very quiet otherwise then the bird calls, etc. We were supplied with beach chairs and towels , etc. We rented our car, a Toyota Rav which handled the steep and twisted roads well."

" The most beautiful view in Tortola. The best snorkeling and Mobbsie. Can’t be beat. We loved going to Peg Legs, Pusser’s, Rhythm and Sands, Main Street Restaurant and Bamboushay. Loved visiting The Baths in Virgin Gorda. Wonderful Sister Trip. Thank you for sharing your amazing beach house. "

"Home is a little dated and needs some upgrading. You should be told prior to booking that ac is only bedroom. Can’t flush tp or drink the water. We didn’t find this a big deal so it didn’t weigh on us. Home was fine for the two of us and the pool was great. Biggest draw back is the hundreds of roosters that crow virtually 24/7 and you can’t escape them. For us really started to get on our nerves by the end of the trip"
