The room had roaches!!! there were other insect in the room uch as lady bugs and moths, but the roaches infested the closet and bathroom area. The staff was great and very helpful.however, there were many issues checking in. Also, I was charged incorreclty and had to deal with the manager for weeks following my stay. thankfully, the issue was resolved, but not before having to argue with management.

Great! Very nice stay! Clean, but the handicap handles in the accessible bathroom need to be scrubbed. Other than that, the hotel was excellent. Convenient to all restaurants and shopping.

The pillowcase on my bed was not clean. I could smell the perfume on it from the previous guest. There was something gooey left in the bathroom sink. Luckily I had my Clorox wipes to clean it down. I was a little disappointed for the amount of money that was spent for one night.

We enjoyed our stay, the staff were very nice and we loved there were dinning options around us we could walk to. It was a great choice to stay at for the Clemson game.

The property needs maintenance in the hallways, elevators were gross, and rooms were in need of remodeling. Knobs missing off dressers. Bathrooms were too small and only had one sink. The shower doors won't stay closed. Stains on the couches. Loose wiring laying out around the A/C unit. Trash and bottles around parking lot.

Great hotel
When we arrived late in the evening; we were greeted by a very friendly woman (sorry, I forgot her name). The stay was nice. Entryway very clean. The pool looked inviting but was too cold! I thought it was a heated pool; we left very quickly. I would have liked to have enjoyed that pool more. The trim was clean; the bed was a bit uncomfortable. The outside was clean and safe. Would definitely stay again.

Checking was awesome! The staff was phenomenal and friendly and helpful! However, with that being said, the room nobody had cleaned but it looked like it was clean so I had to change rooms. There was an empty beer bottle on the side of the bed in the new room. My key wouldn't work when I went up to the room! I had to go back down to the elevator and the staff activated it. However I was tired and I didn't want to go up and down from the lobby to my room on the 5th floor but I had no choice. It was quiet and it was nice and it was easy to get the room. Overall I did not have a bad experience

First room we were put in was not cleaned. Dry blood all over bathroom door handle, on door and door frame. They moved us to another room and it smelled horrible. Smelled like cat urine. Horrible! Unfortunately they said they had no other rooms to put us in. The elevators were filthy dirty. They never mopped the floors in the elevator the whole time there. Stainless steel were all finger printed up. Bathroom door in our room was dirty you could just see the dirty on it. Paint chipping in the bathroom and big hunk of carpet was cut out at the entrance to our room. It just was not nice at all. They didn’t even offer a discount. I will never stay at another Choice hotel.

Typical hotel acquisition. Change name, hire local contractors who do shoddy work painting inside rooms, elevator, etc. Haven’t heard about Frog Tape yet. Didn’t finish trim on bathroom tile flooring. Did they have a project manager?

Slow check in
Check in was about 20 mins whereas the guest next to me took under 2 minutes. Not sure why as they found my reservation right away and mine was prepaid with the same card I had with me. They were two agents. Seemed they kept confusing my card with someone else's card as I heard them repeatedly say " no, that is his". They explained the cars reader was down but the guest next to me had no issues with his transaction. They finally arrived at the correct card to get it processed but still wasn't able to give me my keys and let me go up, they seemed to still be a bit confused. Eventually, I was able to go to my room

I booked my room a few months in advance with two queen beds. When I arrived, I had a sofa bed & a king bed. I was told they couldn’t assign rooms until the morning I arrived & that was all they had. No adult wants to sleep on a sofa bed with springs sticking in them. One lady was nice about it but another one was very ugly & short with me.
