We feel it was unsafe when we arrived to find the gas stove had been left on without a flame. The rental was full of gas. We noticed it when we came down with headaches and stomach aches. No detection device was in the rental. We had not touched the stove before we discovered the problem. We contacted the property owner. They offered us a $50 refund for our three night stay. We refused the money. Our lives are worth more than $50\. This is a very dangerous situation and could have caused an explosion. The host was great and did what she could to make that happen. The studio is very clean. The queen bed is comfortable. The futon would only be suitable for a small child. I tried to nap on it and its extremely uncomfortable! If you want to cook, the kitchen is minimally supplied. Only one big pot and one small pot. There were no supplies like baggies or foil.
