Great spot! A very short walk from the bus station (€2.40 for any destination) and a few more steps to downtown Anacapri. Plenty of restaurant and shopping options

We absolutely loved our stay! The property is walking distance from the bus stop in Anacapri which is short ride to the center of Capri. I was traveling with my husband and 3 year old daughter and we managed well. This location was great and did not break the bank.

Amazing room, with great views. We loved the east 5-10 minute walk to the town and all the dining options close to the hotel, as well as the drinks and poolside food there was at the hotel. The staff was absolutely great, even when our breaker in our room tripped at 3am, the staff was quick to help and get us all fixed up. We will definitely be going back, and would recommend to anyone else visiting Anacapri!

The stay was amazing, the staff so friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Good tourism advice, clean and tidy rooms. The location and view incredible. The pool area clean and tidy. The best location for a sunset in Anacapri. I would recommend 5*****. A most wonderful hotel and I will definately return. Thank you to all the amazing staff, managers, reception was first class

The service at this jewel of a hotel is unbeatable. The staff helped us by reserving at restaurants, suggesting the best things to do, getting us to and from the port, and on and on. I felt as if I were in someone’s home. The setting was tranquil, lush with bougainvillea, and on a hillside with a terrific view.

Love how high up the property sits! Best view of sunset ever! The Hotel was beautiful and clean. The staff courteous and so helpful. Capri and Anacapri are busy with so many people but this hotel is a quiet refuge from it all! Great music too!

Super friendly staff. Picked us up from the ferry and dropped us back off. Very clean property with a beautiful view from the pool. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone ❤️

The location of the hotel is great. A very short walk to the bus stop or to Anacapri main shopping/ restaurants area. The hotel has everything you need, swimming pool was great at the end of a long day walking the streets of the island. There is a pool bar which served cold drinks. Breakfast was nice and had a bit of everything. The rooms are clean and bright. The best thing about the hotel is the view at sunset.

Great location - lovely scenic views and 10 min walk to Anacapri centre. The pool is a great plus in the summer heat. The free shuttle pick up and drop off service is also a great benefit.

This is a wonderful place to stay. Off the beaten path. It is an easy walk to the Anacapri city center and the city buses can take you anywhere on the island you need to go. The breakfast was very nice. The hotel was very clean and unique and the staff was wonderful I did think that the hotel had a restaurant or snack shop by the pool but there is no restaurant on site that is open. I would recommend this hotel.

Good value for the money!
Good value for the money, compare to the high prices of hotels in capri. The sunset views are amazing, the breakfast is great for 3 stars hotel. Our only problems were the smell in the room- umide without ventilation at the bathroom create a very bad smell. And, the hotel is near a bus station of ana capri, but still far from capri and from most of the attractions... So if you seach for a place to stay with good value for the money, thats the place!

Beyond any shadow of a doubt, I shall return to Hotel Il Girasole! The place was just lovely and the staff were incredibly kind, helpful, professional and exemplary in every service. It was relaxing, yet close enough to the bus to take me to Capri piazza, Marina Piccola Beach and walking distance to quaint town of Anacapri. I can't say enough about the fabulous service and the entire hotel, interior/exterior was beautiful. I stayed at a different hotel in Capri the week before this holiday, but Il Girasole was much better. Truly fabulous!! I highly recommend this hotel--

Enjoyed our stay. Staff is helpful and excellent. Provides pickup and drop-off making it very easy and saving time and money. Close to Anna Capri and public transportation to get around the Capri island. Very good breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel. Sunset viewing is amazing!

All of the staff was very nice and helpful, especially Domenico. This hotel is outside of town but there is free shuttle service and it is close to the bus stop.

Thee view is great. Rooms toosmall. Bad smell from the sewage. Change rooms. Niagara at toelets not realy working. When complaining of not having hot water manager says water hot enough...not a way to trezt your guests.

The hotel is a great spot with wonderful sunset views. WiFi in the rooms at the end was non existent but then it just makes you appreciate the sunsets a lot more. Over happy with our selection, loved it and recommend for others. They will shuttle you to and from the ferry which was really nice.

Views to die for!
This is quite a remote hotel requiring a 5 minute walk to the nearest bus stop or a 15 minute walk to the town of Anacapri. However once you arrive, it is all worth it. A real oasis of calm. Lovely views across to the ocean.

We had a fantastic two night stay in Anacapri! The hotel and staff were lovely! We went to Capri for an afternoon and were happy that we chose to stay in the more quiet Anacapri. The island is easy to get around both by walking and bus, although the buses were very full when we were there! Anacapri was fun to explore and shop with very friendly residents. We ate at Barbarrosa one night and the food was excellent, the other night we ate at Zagara in a lemon grove which was very pretty. We enjoyed the pool at Hotel Il Girasole, although it was quite chillyy! They had fantastic Aperol Spritzes and the bruschetta was the best I have ever had! The rooms were clean, but small, as was the bathroom. The views were amazing!! It was a great way to spend a couple of days!!

Staff wonderful, location great, but property in need of updates and upgrades
The room had its issues, a shower that wouldn’t drain, the room needs updating (tile grout awful, bedding old) the air conditioner had to be repaired the first night, but the staff was on it right away.They staff is great, the food at the pool was yummy, but the pool is less than desirable. There is a huge ring of filth around the pool walls and large patch of tar on the floor you have to avoid. The recommendations from the staff were very good, scooters were the best price, dinner was cliff side, upscale and amazing, the breakfast was a good continental meal. Overall, we loved Capri, but this hotel needs updating.
