Although the room was quite small, the location made up for it. A lovely hotel with friendly staff ideal location for all the attractions and easy access to public transport
Check in was quick and easy. Staff was great. Shout out to Saya, Nesa and Stein VIP treatment from these staff from check in to checking out.
Breakfast was good, a 10 min walk to Central Station which is great hub if you are planning to go visit other countries.
Will definitely stay here again.
Great location. Friendly safe. Comfortable stay. I would stay here again but maybe have a bigger room.

Liked: Staff & service
Staffs are friendly and courteous.
The room that we had was freezing cold in early December and the staffs were not able adjust the heat to make it warmer. This made the stay extremely unpleasant and hence a terrible overall rating.
We liked the proximity to the Central Rail Station, easy to walk with rolling luggage. Room was a bit noisy, but hey, it’s downtown Amsterdam. Comfortable bed, good breakfast, we got in our room early, which was nice. I would stay here again.
Overall experience of my first time stay in a City Centre Hotel was great. Staff were efficient and friendly, hotel was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities. My shower tray overflowed a bit but otherwise an exceptional stay.
Even with the road construction going on by the hotel, it was easy to access by sidewalk. Little surprised at the lack of neighborhood coffee shops, but to find one, was only a couple of blocks away.
Great hotel for couples or groups looking to stay in the centre of the city, with Centraal Station, Dam Square and the chic Jordaan district close by. Lots of shopping, restaurants, bars and cafe options available.
The hotel is welcoming, well maintained and spotless.
This is the 4th time I have stated at this hotel. Its location is very good. 10 minutes walk from the station whilst being just about outside of the madness that is the central Amsterdam tourist area. The rooms are not the largest. In the room I stayed in recently the bathroom door banged into the toilet when you open it. The reception staff were excellent. The young lady who checked us in, whose name was Puck, couldn’t have been more helpful. It a very good as a 1 or 2 day stay hotel. My only complaint is, and this is about the cost of all the central hotels in Amsterdam, is that it is very expensive for what it is.
We only stayed here for one night. Its a short walk from the Central Train Station. Close to Dam Square, the Palace, stopping, restaurants, Anne Frank house, etc. We chose this hotel because of its central location and because it has a lift/elevator. The room is very small but we knew that ahead of time. It suited our needs just fine. Staff were helpful and friendly. We didn't buy the breakfast because there are so many great places to eat near this hotel. We found a delicious crepe and waffle place. Would definitely stay here again.
Very happy with the hotel and location. Nice touch of fresh Croissants in reception in the daytime after breakfast. Great location, very close to Central Station.Staff friendly and helpful.
Visit to see good friends in Haarlem and Amsterdam
I really enjoyed my stay as it was close to all of the places I normally visit on my visits to see friends in Amsterdam.
The Breakfast was excellent and had a great choice of both hot and cold dishes.
I was a bit bemused with the Bedroom set up as the Bed was faced away from the window so there was not a lot of natural light coming into the room (something I always prefer). I also found that the A/c was not very easy to understand or operate.
What was unique about the Westcord is it is conveniently located but separate from the madness that is often Amsterdam. The staff is very helpful, attentive to your needs and you don’t feel like you are in a big city hotel.
Great 3 night stay. Right near a tram stop and walkable to a lot of other nearby places. Appreciated the early check in when I figured I’d have to just drop my bags off.
