Dam Good!Posted 21-Oct-2017
This hotel had everything we could possibly want! Bustling bar, great restaurant, friendly and effective staff with a 'can do' attitude. The rooms were extremely comfortable and and beautiful - make sure you get a canal view! Only things I would improve are: lightening in the rooms - more please! It's nice to have low lighting when that's what you want, but it is nice to be able to choose.

Fabulous boutique hotel near to everything.Posted 4-Sep-2017
Staff were superb and all the little touches made it a really special stay. The room was cosy and the bed really comfortable. It was really peaceful and located in a lovely part of the city close to Dam square and the Jordaan district. We'd stay again in a heartbeat!

Fantastic HotelPosted 30-Aug-2017
Pros: Location, cleanliness, staff
Location: Perfect location! 8-minute walk to the Anne Frank House, 30-minute walk to Vondelpark, the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh Museum, and the Moco Museum.
Our stay at the Hoxton exceeded our expectations! The hotel is in a great location and the surrounding area is incredibly picturesque. The staff were very friendly, and we loved the fun and relaxed vibe throughout the hotel. We stayed in a Roomy Room which was very comfortable and spacious. Our room also overlooked the canal which could not have been more perfect for our first visit to Amsterdam. We highly recommend this hotel and will not hesitate to stay here again in the future!

Helpful and friendly - relaxing place to stayPosted 29-Aug-2017
We were so impressed with the Hoxton - nothing was too much trouble for the lovely staff on reception. We ran out of milk, told them at reception on our way up to the room , and they nearly beat us to the room with the milk! And not those tiny pots you usually get but a half pint carton! Wonderful view, room cleaned beautifully - in short, WELL DONE!

Great hotel, amazing location and atmospherePosted 26-Aug-2017
Spent five days at the Hoxton recently, couldn't have been better. Everything from the front desk staff (shout out to John who was super) the restaurant was a real surprise, great Bar and the room was thoughtfully appointed. The location is fantastic, can't recommend it highly enough.

The coolest hotel in AmsterdamPosted 24-Aug-2017
We celebrated our 10 year anniversary at the hotel with a friend from London. Staff were amazing on arrival with clear explanations on the hotel. Helpful with city information as it was first time in Amsterdam. We had a canal view room on the back of the hotel which surely had to be one of the best rooms. Amazing space and the decor was modern with nice touches of the radio on when you arrive to feel like you were coming home. Then there is the bed AWESOME wasn't to soft, wasn't to hard, just right. With amazing pillows. The bathroom products we amazing I regret nit purchasing more at reception. Then there is the funky/coolio bar/restaurant on the ground floor. Great food and drinks which were more reasonable prices than outside the hotel with superior service Totally recommend to safe at this hotel. Looking forward to staying at other hoxton properties.

Nicely renovated Canal housePosted 23-Aug-2017
Pros: We felt like we were staying in luxury at the Hoxton. (Accommodations are not a high priority for us, so finding the Hoxton was great!)
Location: We walked almost everywhere and found our way around easily.Guided City bike tour was a highlight.
We picked this hotel because of its location (which worked out great) but the building itself was a lovely maze of rooms that had recently been updated. We stayed 2 nights at the beginning of our trip and 2 nights at the end. Both rooms had great bathrooms and nicely appointed rooms. The new towels were amazing and the beds were comfortable. Having a kettle and a refrigerator stocked with water and milk was wonderful and we enjoyed the "breakfast in a bag" each morning. The restaurant had nice food also. The staff was young and very engaging and helpful.

Very hip and comfortablePosted 18-Aug-2017
Great shared space downstairs. Rooms were pretty small for the price but nicely designed and decorated. One complaint was that there was quite a bit of dust in the room
