"Nice hotel. Good food, Fly staff."
We booked up for a few nights in the hotel as a birthday treat, we booked to stay in the low price double room on expedia, It was cheap, it looked respectable in photos, clean, modern and ideal for our stay. However we were given room 172, in the back wing of the hotel, immediately the whole hallway area smelled damp and smokey, When we got to our room it looked nothing like the photos, it was damp, dilapidated, burn marks on the curtains, wallpaper peeling off the walls, No TV, 2 single beds with dusty bed sheets, the room wreaked of smoke. It was rank rotten.
HOWEVER, after storming off to reception and explaining the situation she very quickly upgraded us to a new room 118, this was a different world. Clean, modern, stylish and absolutely ideal, miles better than the previous room. Be wary of reception staff, it feels a bit to us that she thought we wouldn't complain and would put up with the manky room.
The hotel room we got was clean, nice view out the window onto the riverside, restaurant food was great and relatively cheap, stylish rooms and a cracking bar and restaurant area. JUST BE WEARY OF YOUR ROOM, don't settle for the dodgey end.
