I liked the property and it was convenient and the staff was wonderful and willing to help. The room was nice (if a little run down) and the breakfast was wonderful. The one big problem we had was our original room was in the back of the hotel over De Wallen. As a result, at night it was very noisy. After talking to the desk, they were very nice and moved us into a new room with was much quiet4er.

The bed was extremly terrible and miles from from being comfy. The building requires lots of maintenance. Breakfast is as bad as it can get. It is vertainly not worth the money paid for a night close to 100 EUR and the bed will break your body apart.

Great hotel on a budget. Great location but a little noisy on the weekends because you are right in the downtown area. Ear plugs did the trick though. I would recommend.

The condition of the property was terrible. Although there was no elevator in the building, which was fine since we were on the first floor, the stairs were extremely dangerous and in poor condition. There was no air conditioning in the room, and the windows opened to the main alley, making it noisy all night long. Opening the windows was not an option due to the noise. The wifi was very weak, and when I mentioned it to the receptionist, he rudely replied, "I don't use smartphones and don't want to do that. This is your problem; play with your phone, and you'll figure it out!" The breakfast was basic, consisting only of butter, honey, eggs, beans, sausage, and two types of bread. Overall, it was one of the worst hotels I have ever experienced.

Not recommended for a family. Very close to red light, lotsvof noise outside till morning. Very tight and smelly building. The room itself was clean though and breakfast was good. Typical old Amsterdam building with narrow and steep staris. Next time i would book somewhere away from city center.

The hotel was clean, very convenient to train, bus and tram and within easy walking distance of the old town. The staff were helpful and pleasant. The hotel is old, has furnishings that were showing wear Some areas required navigating some steep stairs Make sure they know if you have mobility issues. Bathroom was clean and modern. Lots of restaurants nearby. If troubled by street sounds bring earplugs. Perfectly adequate for our needs over 2 nights stay.
