« We arrived to no one around and after walking around the property finally saw an envelope with our name on it and our key. Our room smelt moldy and damp. The carpet was dirty and the walls were peeling. The beds were very uncomfortable. It was shocking to see after such a high rating. The yard was unkempt and there was a general air of neglect about the whole place. »

« I had a really nice stay at this guesthouse. It is kind of old-fashioned, but not rundown. A lot of decorations reminiscent of Carmarthen's past as well as of the place itself. A place you could maybe have found the same 30 or 40 years ago and well-maintained eversince. I really loved the mood.
Also, the owners are really super nice, kind and welcoming. A good traditional cooked breakfast is served in the morning.
Go there if you like old-style UK and want to support independent owners. I would...

« We had a wonderful stay at Hideaway Escapes. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. They went out of their way to answer questions and make sure we had everything we needed. The accommodation was comfortable and the whole experience felt relaxed and well-organized. We really appreciated the warm hospitality and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended! »
