"This property is a little oasis hidden away. While a bit tricky to get to as you have to drive on unpaved roads, it's worth it once you get there. The room had everything we needed, and the breakfast was wonderful and included local products. The location is quite rural, however, the closest town (Ourique) was only a 15 minute drive away. It's not a big town by any means, but there were a few restaurant options and a Pingo Doce and an Aldi for groceries. The only thing preventing this from being a 5 star stay was the atmosphere during our stay due to other guests. There happened to be a large family who booked during the same time as us and they completely took over the pool area. As the location is in such a quiet area and there isn't a ton to do, we were looking forward to sitting by the beautiful pool and relaxing in the afternoon. That was tainted by children screaming and jumping into the pool, in addition to them bringing a speaker and playing loud music for hours. They were having a good time and the property is family friendly so perhaps our fault for not inquiring, but if you're looking for a quiet getaway, this may not be the place to book. While it wasn't the stay we were hoping for, the staff and accommodation itself was wonderful."

"Lovely private house in a beautiful location. Has everything you could need and the pool area is lovely. If you’re looking for privacy and a relaxing stay, this is ideal. Access is a rural track but not too bad at all so don’t let it be a worry. Local to a town / supermarket also. Happy to recommend and would love to return!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this remote farm hotel. Everything was lovely from start to finish. The accommodation was spotless, comfortable, and very well looked after. The peaceful surroundings made it the perfect place to relax and unwind, with beautiful countryside views and a real sense of tranquillity. It was a great escape from the hustle and bustle, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway and would happily stay again. The breakfast was lovely and we were even allowed to stay and use the pool after we checked out."

"Nous avons passé un excellent séjour de 16 jours chez Luk. Le logement est idéalement situé pour découvrir l'Alentejo et l'Algarve, ce qui en fait un excellent point de départ pour explorer le sud du Portugal.Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la flexibilité offerte par Luk, avec la possibilité d'arriver un autre jour que le samedi, ce qui est un véritable avantage pour organiser son voyage à son rythme.Luk est un hôte très accueillant, disponible et attentif. La maison est agréable, bien équipée et offre tout le confort nécessaire pour passer un très bon séjour. Nous avons également largement profité de la piscine, très appréciable après une journée de visite.Mention spéciale pour la possibilité de recharger notre véhicule électrique sur place, une attention particulièrement appréciée qui a rendu nos déplacements encore plus simples.Nous recommandons vivement ce logement et remercions Luk pour son accueil."

"When planning our walk on the Rota Vicentina, we weren't sure the extra distance to reach Quinta Chocalhino (Cowbell Farm!) from Odemira would be worth it but it was and Teresa made sure we didn't have to walk any farther than Odemira. Our stay at this family-run agriturismo was lovely: our room was incredibly comfortable and breakfast was perfectly suited to our tastes and dietary restrictions (one of us is a gluten-free vegetarian). We didn't have much energy to explore the grounds (or try the pool) during our one-night stay but we loved that there were donkeys, geese/ducks, turkeys, dogs, and cats staying on the farm with us. We got rained on during our day's walk to Odemira and were pleasantly surprised to find a clothes rack and dehumidifier in our room for drying out our wet gear. Teresa also lit a fire in the Great Room for us and we relaxed after dinner in front of the fireplace with our books and delicious red wine from the Alentejo region. We left the next morning rejeuvenated and ready to tackle our next stage to Sao Teotonio!"
