Amfilochia, a serene town located at the northwestern edge of Central Greece, is beautifully nestled along the innermost point of the Ambracian Gulf. Its amphitheatrical layout on the hillside gives visitors stunning panoramic views of the calm, protected waters. The town itself offers a peaceful, authentic Greek atmosphere and is well-suited for travelers who prefer to explore off the beaten path. A walk along the coastal promenade is one of the town’s simplest pleasures, where you can stop at traditional tavernas and cafés serving local seafood delicacies, such as grilled sardines and octopus, freshly caught from the gulf.  
  
One of the highlights of Amfilochia is the view from the upper part of the town, especially near the old fortress ruins of Kastro, which overlooks the harbor and offers an ideal photo opportunity, particularly during sunset.
