Balcony rooms enjoy a wonderful view (we were on top floor) and hotel provides ample exterior seating to enjoy the night sky and old city, drinking wine, as we did every night.
Pro tip: breakfast buffet is not self serve. You point/ask and they will hand food to you or bring it to the table…drinks also. That being said, the breakfast offering was robust and good.
Parking at nearby Palazzo Poppolo is not available if you stay over to Saturday, as most of us do, or even over Wednesday. The Saturday and Wednesday markets use this square. We parked at Palazzo Republicco, right inside city entrance (first real left..P sign). Fee was /-12€ per day. Very safe parking (plus convenient stocked toilet in that garage..plus!). Walk to hotel is /-5 minutes. Remember to look on right for cross street on corner of buildings and UP for English version of hotel name, hanging from tall arm over street. That’s a real pro tip there, because hotel won’t mention that and street level sign is in Italian. We joined many other English patrons wandering around past Italian hotel sign…live & learn!
Very walkable city…not a lot of steep hills!
