Ambleside is stocked with a good selection of bars, restaurants and independent retailers, as well as plenty of seasonal attractions to suit all ages and is easily reached via a short walk down the hill. Set adjacent to Blue Hill Wood, High Fellside offers keen nature lovers the chance to see owls, bats, deer and hear the odd woodpecker. A lovely few days in High Fellside. Had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Position on the hillside lends itself to absolutely fabulous views. We were lucky enough to be blessed with good weather so we're able to make full use of the patio garden which also shares the views.
