Delicieux et superbe vue
L'hôte nous a contacté avant le séjour pour préparer notre arrivée ce qui est appréciable notamment pour le parking et monter les bagages. Alfredo a donc gare notre auto... Nous avons pu monter les nombreuses marches pour accéder à la villa Rina. Avec la valise c'est assez épuisant surtout en été et c'est sûrement le seul point noir de ce lieux. Très bon accueil avec un jus de citron maison. La vue est exceptionnelle ! Après un échange avec l'hôte nous récupérons notre chambre, assez grande et confortable. Seul bemon, 2 lits une place accolés au lieu d'un grand lit.. Nous avons décidé de manger sur place le soir et je le conseille fortement ! C'est absolument délicieux. Fait maison et avec les produits locaux, tout est rapidement servi. En prime, dessert et Limoncello ! + vin à un prix très raisonnable. Le petit déjeuner est aussi très bon. Servi aussi en terrasse avec la vue sur la mer en hauteur c'est parfait. Nous avons aussi suivi les conseils de l'hôte pour nous rendre en ville. La seule difficulté est l'eloignement avec le centre ville et la plage. Il faut forcément tout redescendre et plusieurs fois par jour c'est épuisant. Les plages d'ailleurs sont pas très grandes. Cela dit, il n'y a rien de négatif pour ce logement et je le conseil vivement !

Merveilleux hôtel
Chambre confortable avec petit jardin privatif, très agréable pour dîner. Les 300 marches pour accéder à l'hôtel sont vite oubliées par la beauté de la vue depuis l'hôtel. A environ 30 minutes de marche du centre d'Amalfi.

Nous sommes déçus car il faut faire 400 marches et payer 10 € par bagages et 30 € pour parking voiture car on ne accéder en voiture , nous vous demandons de rayer Villa Rina de votre réseau car ça vous faire perdre des clients comme vous vous en doutez nous ne sommes pas restés mais la propriétaire a voulu 150€ c est un scandale . Prix excessif pour service et commodités
Ce n’est pas un hôtel de rêve comme sur les photos, il faudrait prévenir que ce n’est pas un hôtel, mais un country house !. Le prix est excessif pour la qualité de service et commodités, un mail vous est envoyé et vous impose des suppléments pour le port de bagages, aucune explication pour votre voiture, On vous propose qu’un garagiste vienne mais vous n’avez aucun tarif de parking ! Nous sommes allés nous garer au parking municipal (bien) mais prévoir plus de 3 km de marche avec plus de 200 marches avec un bon dénivelé ! Certes la vue est très belle, toutefois, il n’y a aucun accès possible en voiture. La seule possibilité d’accès est à pied, ceci n’est pas inscrit sur le site hotel.com. Lorsque vous arrivez à l’entrée de la propriété par le petit chemin, vous avez l’impression d’arriver par une porte de service, et très difficile à trouver lorsque vous arrivez du parking et surprise lorsque vous passez la porte, il reste encore plus de 50 marches dans une propriété privé (style jardin). La chambre est belle ainsi que la terrasse (toutefois pas de café, ni eau) ; les toilettes et la salle de bain ne sont même pas sur le même palier, il faut redescendre d’un étage (ce n’est pas un private bathroom, il y a une autre chambre sur le palier !!!) vous risquez même de tomber la nuit des escaliers, il manque de sécurité. Il est important de le signaler sur le site hotel.com, aucun accès voiture et peu de commodités.

Rina was an amazing host and her food was amazing. I had some of the best food cooked by her. There are lots of stairs to walk which he tells you and offers someone to pick up your luggage for 10erous per bag. Well worth the money!! Also we drove there and she also arranged parking for us so we parked across the street, someone picked up our car for us and we walked up the stairs. So convenient. She is so amazing and I couldn’t ask for a better host.

Rina is the ultimate hostess. You really must be prepared though if you stay here to earn the right to see the magnificent views, you must climb hundreds of stairs up. These same stairs must be climbed back down any time you wish to go to town. The sun is hot and you must be in good physical shape. Communications are a little hard as staff doesn’t speak English. The wine and food abound. Best to visit when you can stay and just enjoy Rina’s hospitality. She taught us to cook with local food items and breakfast is included. You can pay extra and she will prepare wonderful dinners.

Excellent stay at Villa Rina
We stayed at villa Rina for 2 nights and are very happy with our stay. As many other reviews have said, you have to walk up a couple of steps to get there. But once you get to the house, the view is worth the effort. The house is located just outside the hustle and bustle of the central amalfi and for us it was so nice to be able to enjoy the breathteaking views without the hordes of tourists. The rooms are good size and very cosy and we especially enjoyed the ceiling height and the balcony with panoramic views over the sea. The room was equipped with all the amenities we needed (especially the ac since there was about 30+ degrees celsius during our stay) We enjoyed 2 dinners at Villa Rina. We had only booked one beforehand but enjoyed it so much that we ate there the second night as well. It is homecooked italian dishes and Rina grows much of the ingredients herself. It was very relaxing Having dinner overlooking the ocean. The breakfast was delicious as well with homecooked jams and a delicious freshly squeezed lemon Juice. I would recommend staying at Villa Rina If you aren't afraid of walking up steps and If you want something more relaxed and genuine than the tourist version of Amalfi.

Perfect home away from home
stayed there for the third time in three years and it was always excellent. The villa is perfectly located, Rina the owner of the villa is absolutely lovely and her cooking skills are brilliant (taste her dinner menu!). Will be back soon.

My staff in Villa Rina was delightful. The place is a walk and some (many) stairs to climb. However the stay was very pleasurable with beautiful water views. Rina was really pleasant and her cooking was amazing. I ate their all 3 nights. I would recommend to pack vey lightly if you’re staying here or coordinate with Rina for a porter service. Overall I had a pleasant time and don’t forgot to have a shot or two of her homemade limoncello - the best in town.

Great stay with Rina. Lovely lady, so helpful. And she is the most amazing cook, 40 euro each for a full course meal and drinks. Was delicious. And a cooked breakfast every morning with lemonade and coffee. Comfortable room with amazing view. Only thing is you do have to climb the 300ish stairs up the hill, so we only went out once a day, have to be reasonably fit to do this (definitely not for everyone). Thanks Rina! Thank you!!

When I booked this hotel i didn't know about i have to climb 300 to 400 steps with laggage. Thats really bad. They sent me a mail on the day of check in morning 8AM. At that time I was travelling, i opened the mail but I didn't get time to read as i was in rush and traveling to Amalfi. The villa owner Rina was in hurry and told me to decide what to do with booking. She said if you want to cancel the booking i will do it and you can talk to HOTEL.COM for refund but i was unable to contact HOTEL COM. I took 15 minutes to decide and told we don't won't to stay now. We left the hotel then we booked another hotel. I would request you please refund my money. I am the previlage customer of HOTEL.COM. if you won't resolve my problem i will not use hotel.com for my future booking. I am a world traveller and i have great following on social media. I will not give good review to your app. Kindly do the needful.

This was our favorite place we stayed through our trip in Italy. The place has amazing breath taking views. We had amazing dinner served by the host. Breakfast was also served and was delicious. We are definitely coming back to this place. I would recommend contacting the host and booking with the host then through Expedia. Rina is super friendly and an amazing host!

The property was located in a beautiful location. A very short and beautiful walk to the main area. The view from our room's balcony was out of this world. Rina was a fabulous and knowledgeable host. Our experience at Villa Rina was great! It was away from the noise of the center of town, but close enough to manage walking back and forth. After reading other reviews, I agree that it is not for the faint hearted when it comes to the stairs and although we were pretty fit individuals, it was tough at times. (the view, however, was worth it) Rina and her staff were extremely kind and open to giving us suggestions for beaches to go to and how to get around. Also according to other reviews, I thought that it was pricey and there were a few hidden fees that we were charged with at the end that we were not expecting. We did have dinner at the Villa one night for 40 euro a person which was very nice. The food was fresh and delicious.

Well worth the steps!
Rina and her staff were very accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. The food was delicious, we ate at the villa every night of our stay and the view from the dining area is stunning. The limoncello was the best we had during our trip. The only negative is the steps, but they are well worth it and mean you can enjoy you meal knowing it was well earned!

Tolle Aussicht, aber unsauber.
Aussicht absolut grandios! Besitzerin sehr nett. Zimmer sehr alt und urig; zum Bad mussten wir aus dem Zimmer raus und über den Flur. Das Bad ist nichts für große Menschen; Dusche ist in der Wanne und zum duschen muses man knien. Leider nicht sehr sauber: in der Dusche und unter dem Becken klebten noch Haare, im Zimmer war der Boden dreckig und voll Haare, das plumeau auf dem Bett hatte keinen Bettbezug!

A very nice place to stay in Amalfi!
Rina is a great host. Very kind and helpful. The view is spectacular. The only concern of ours was the 200+ stairs to climb to get to the villa, which makes it a hassle to move around for sightseeing. Parking is also inconvenient.

Villa Rina lived up to our expectations. It is a special place. Rina is a wonderful host and her staff are all very nice as well. The food is wonderful and is locally sourced. There is a sweet dog there as well as cats that will greet you on your walk to and from the main street. A wonderful way to connect to Amalfi.

Rina’s Villa was the perfect stay. Breathtaking views, food was amazing and Rina was a lovely host. Perfect stay to connect with the natural beauty of the area. Unbelievable sunrises and sunsets. Villa Rina ligger højt oppe og der er en fantastisk udsigt derfra. Man kan ikke køre dertil direkte, men skal op af over 200 trapper - nede fra vejen, hvilket ikke kan anbefales med mindre børn/ eller meget bagage, der skal bæres op. Parkering er 20 Euros/dag, hvis man ikke er utrolig heldig og få en parkeringsplads. Morgenmaden bestod af ristet brød, ricottaost, tomater. Hjemmelavet blomme,figen og mandarin marmelade. Æg/scrablet æg, hvis man ønsker det. Te/kaffe/varm chokolade og friskpresset appelsinjuice. Og italiensk hjemmelavet kage. Rina er som person meget flink og serviceminded. Det gør opholdet personligt - og ikke et standardiseret hotelophold. Vi var glade for opholdet, men vil dog alligevel vælge et andet, hvis vi skal til Amalfi en anden gang.

Great B&B in Amalfi.
Rilla’s Villa was a cozy, comfortable B&B with stunning views overlooking Amalfi. Rilla is very inviting and gracious. She makes the most amazing full dinners served on the outdoor patio. It was scrumptious from beginning to end. We happened to be there when there was a full moon and it was absolutely magical eating dinner overlooking Amalfi under the full moon. It is 200 steps up to Rina’s Villa, we only had 2 backpacks as we were traveling light so it wasn’t a problem at all. There is a great pathway from the Villa all the way into town and beach. Can’t wait to visit again.

perfect for you if you: - like a magnificient view - like self made marmelades from the garden in front of the house - are able to walk a litle bit - are not traveling by car. Amalfi coast is a problem with a car anyway. No parking space in this area in general

Rina ist eine wunderbare Gastgeberin und Köchin! Wir schwärmen noch immer von der Terrasse und dem Ausblick! Allerdings sollte man gut zu Fuß sein, die Treppen haben es in sich!

Fantastic view with very impressive hospitality of the owner. But to get that view, u need to climb up for a while but it worth to!!

Villa Rina is a beautiful place to stay-Rina is an excellent host and has thought of everything to make our stay delightful. The rooms are beautiful, the view to the sea spectacular and you will find Rina’s cooking the finest of any Italian restaurant. We will be back!
