"Located off M56. Popular for business meetings.
Hotel is tired. In need of revamp. Parking is a nightmare - too busy. Beware the walk from reception to your room - I was in 2500 and it was a LONG way to wheel some really heavy cases (no offer of bellboy). Breakfast was excellent and the staff there very friendly. Bar staff for drinks on ground floor bar/restaurant area were not at all friendly. Overall - an ok option if you are flying next day but there are better hotels right at the...
"Greeted by a pile of dirty bedding and towels in the room, phoned to tell the owners who did nothing about it. Very very dated and not in a quaint way. Not clean at all. Fortunately it was only a one night stay before we flew out on holiday early the next morning. I would not recommend to anyone. Floorboards are ridiculously creaky, if anyone gets up in the night, everyone is woken up! "

"We had a really wonderful stay. Everyone was so welcoming from reception to Refuge bar staff, even the lovely guy constantly cleaning the walk ways. Jazz in the Refuge was an unexpected surprise along with the signature clock tower scent. "
