We have a waiting list we can add you to as our algorithms predict the best scenario and currently...  
\`From May 1st to September 30th, we require a 3 to 6-night stay when booking any weekend night if more than 3 months out and a 2 to 3-night weekend stay if booked less than 2 months away from the dates you want to book.  
1 night stays are approved on case by case basis and typically accepted during the week in peak season and 99 percent of the time in off season times.   
Getaway, relax with your friends and family to our cottages on Campau Lake a great place to unwind and relax in the hot swim pool spa schedule your family fun now! We have a lot of options for family fun with a firepit, gas grills, fishing on the dock and kayaks with row boats and volleyball, basketball, yard games and a house escape challenge. Swim pool spa located on our property, we just added a 2nd spa closer by yard game area is heated and not shared year-round the indoor pool is a add on.  
Currently our man cave garage is currently under construction till further notice.  
Campau Lake sunshine cottage offers free uber/lyft and limousine discounted service DADDS MAGIC Bus and limo with waterfront fun! Great access to fishing, fun and kayaks on the water with gas grills, fire pits, man cave game room with pool table, Foose ball, ping pong tiki bar plans with other living space bedroom and bathroom plans soon ... yard games and family fun.  
This location right on the water near the airport offers a relaxation setting at the end of a cul-de-sac and plenty if wilderness views.   
Patio deck, picnic table grill and access to the dock and water areas with kayaks, beach hoops, beach sand volleyball and pontoon boat rental options.   
This will also include the shared use of volleyball net use, yard games, fish and great view and heated swim spa. We also offer shuttle service $15 per person min 6 people each way to Grand Rapids, MI downtown.  
  
Free beer while you shop at Campau meat market and Mike\`s Pizza discount 15% off experience.  
  
The guest can get into the property with a code as soon as they confirm the group size and pay the difference in the clean fee.

We have an open-door policy.  
This means you can add guests up to and including after your arrival.  
The fees for your guests will be calculated after you decide your done adding or inviting guests and giving us your final total.  
Extra guests are $25 per night and a 1 time prep clean and linen fee $20 per person less what you already pay in your original requested fee typically $20 to note the per person rate ideally a red flag to note it\`s still due because of such a low amount.  
This can be deducted or will be taken from your deposit if not paid along with any damages or not cleaned or missing items.  
We prefer to clear this up before your arrival if your open-door guests\` numbers are certain, however we can wait until 24 hours before check-out if you prefer and need time to get your open-door numbers finalized.  
This is much like a fridge in a hotel with fresh beverages as you consume them you will have to eventually pay at check out.  
  
Every place we have open door policies people are honest good guests and pay balances or deduct it from the deposit or are put on lists for not doing so and actions taken to remedy nonpayment.  
We hope to clear this up before the 24 hours of your departure.  
We have transportation options with our limousine services DADDS MAGIC BUS AND LIMOUSINE or free up to 10% of nightly rate on uber or lyft refunds after your stay, just save receipts and request within 3 days of your stay.  
Pets are allowed see fees $75 during week or $100 weekend.  
Local convenient store, pizza special just ask at Mike\`s pizza, fresh meat and free brew tastes at Campau Corner experience and Dollar General just minutes from the Campau Lake Cottages we have 4 total.  
1\. Booking & Compliance  
 \* Rental Agreement: Must be signed within 3 days of booking. If not signed, payment/check-in constitutes acceptance of all terms.  
 \* Identification: A valid government-issued ID must be submitted via the platform before check-in. Failure to provide ID may result in cancellation without a refund.  
 \* Occupancy: All guests and visitors staying past 9:00 PM are considered overnight guests.  
 \* Fees: $25 per person/night plus a one-time $20 preparation fee per person.  
 \* Open-Door Policy: Final guest counts must be confirmed prior to arrival to ensure accurate billing.  
2\. Check-In & Check-Out (Early/Late Arrivals)  
 \* Arrival/Departure: Standard times are coordinated via group message with the caretaker.  
 \* Early Arrival/Late Departure: Requests are subject to availability and the following conditions:  
 \* Fees: Rates for early/late access are determined by the caretaker based on cleaning schedules and availability.  
 \* Compliance: Access is granted only if the guest is in full compliance with all house policies. Unauthorized early check-in or late check-out will result in an automatic minimum charge of $100.  
 \* Arrival Review: An arrival review sheet must be completed (via link or hard copy) within 2 hours of check-in. Failure to complete this will result in the reinstatement of any waived fees or a $100 administrative fee.  
3\. Deposits & Payments  
 \* Damage Deposit: A refundable deposit ($100–$2500 depending on group size) is required via the platform or Cash App prior to access. Damage deposit is that we will charge directly as we have API and are approved to take deposits outside the platform.  
 \* Refunds: Deposits are processed within 14–21 days post-checkout, following a property inspection and submission of your stay review.  
 \* Propane: Tanks are $30 each with a $40 refundable deposit.  
4\. Property Specifics & Seasonality  
 \* Peak Season (May 1 – Sept 30): \* Bookings 3+ months out: 3–6 night minimum for weekends.  
 \* Bookings < 2 months out: 2–3 night minimum.  
 \* Full House Rule: For the main property, all 4 levels must be rented during peak season.  
 \* Caretakers: Staff resides onsite (in a camper or cottage) to provide 24/7 assistance and maintenance.  
 \* Hot Tub/Spa: In extreme cold, water temperatures or functionality may be limited. The spas are never shared and are used privately at different times between two houses on a 2-hour interval. If the cover is open or privacy nets are drawn, the spa is currently occupied.  
 \* Shared Amenities: Guests have access to kayaks, canoes, boats, beach, docks, and courts. Wood for the fire pit is provided free by the dumpster.  
5\. Prohibited Activities & Fines  
 \* Smoking: Strictly prohibited indoors. Outside only. Smoking policy in the house $250 fine to run the dionizer and removal of odors.  
 \* Fireworks/Events: STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Violation results in immediate eviction by law enforcement without a refund.  
 \* Equipment Care: Outdoor umbrellas must be closed when not in use. A $50 fine applies for wind damage.  
6\. Cancellations & Transfers  
 \* Peak Season: Cancellations typically result in a loss of deposit. If the unit is re-rented, a refund (minus a 15–20% re-opening fee) may be issued.  
 \* Transfers: Moving dates or units is treated as a cancellation unless otherwise agreed. Rates may increase based on new dates.  
 \* Insurance: We strongly recommend purchasing 3rd-party travel insurance (e.g., Travel Guard) as our refund policy is firm due to platform limitations.

 \* The \`Behavior\` Clause: Instead of saying the rate depends on \`obedience,\` use: \`Early/Late access is a privilege granted at the host\`s discretion based on guest communication and adherence to house rules.\`

Views of the lake were perfect. Check in was easy. Hosts were attentive and concerned about everything being perfect for our stay. The wife is already thinking of getting a group of friends together to come back.

#### Amazing Location and Property Manager

The cottage was very nice to live on with there being an amazing yard and many activities to do on the location. The hot tub and pool was amazing and the house was very clean and well kept. The property managers were also great with them being very accommodating and helpful as well as keeping communications up to help out with any problems we may have. Overall we had a great time and would for sure rent again if the opportunity arises.

Overall the place was ok. The couches were futons, very uncomfortable. The only comfortable bed is the one in the living area. Loved the location it was relaxing and peaceful. Close to a couple stores. The swim spa closes at 10pm which was a bummer they didn't mention that. The game room in garage was not much of a game room. Over priced for what u get.

#### Perfect for 2.

We planned on relaxing and not doing much. We were able to watch the Beautiful Lake sunrise. It was stunning, the weather was almost perfect. Except for rain. For a couple days, we rented a pontoon. We saw 2 beautiful mute swans with 2 babies. 2 sand Hill cranes landed on the shore and were singing for us. In the morning, it was very nice there. Thank you, Frank, and a big shout out. Goes to Mike, who is the best caretaker I've ever met. I've stayed in a lot of VRBOs and this caretaker is. It's the best, thank you again, Mike, Frank and Team. We enjoyed our stay and we will be back.

I don’t feel that they were prepared for summmer went June 19 and no pool. The spa was ready , the volleyball court wasn’t cleared . There was no was clothes or hand towels, no dish towels. One smoke detector and had to call for battery, which they came quickly. There’s lots of sleeping arrangements but not really room for much more. We still had a good time but wish they put a little more effort into the place.

#### A Holiday Weekend to Remember

It was difficult finding a place on the lake to accommodate our entire group. This gem had everything we needed and more. Plentiful places to sleep, hang out, play, eat, and just relax and enjoy the views. Frank and Tammi were more than accommodating, and were prompt and frequent with their communication. It was a pleasure working with them to make this weekend unforgettable for myself and our guests. It was so great, we want to return next year!
