rahenbad hotel
Great location walking distance to the town centre . Great view from our room staff were very friendly limited english. The only down side is a walk up a steep slope to get to the hotel .

Hotel review
Although I only stayed for three nights the staff were excellent, they had little or no problem speaking English. The breakfast was excellent quality and sufficient. The surroundinds where beutiful once you have managed initially locate the hotel. There were A number of supermarkets nearby and within easy walking distance.

I used GPS and it took over an hour and three different people to find the hotel. It is not located in that town, it is about 5 miles away in another town.

Awesome Hotel in an awesome location!
Such a beautiful location! Very accessible to the rest of Black Forest, Germany. Natalya, the hotel owner was extremely welcoming, and flexible in allowing for a very late check in. She made sure we had a great stay, and provided us with great ideas on things to do in the area. Loved the hotel, the area, and her!

Worst ever. No one at reception. Then someone comes, but speaks hardly any language but Russian. Then the room: old squeaky beds, impossible to sleep on. Tiny 1960 tv. WiFi doesn't work. 3 guests in hotel. breakfast was like in the old Intourist hotel in. Moscow: bread, butter, cheese, coffee and some meat. Hot water took 15 minutes to arrive and was lukewarm. No soap. Room was renovated when Fidel Castro took office. DONT GO THERE,!!!!!

A bit dissapointed, mattress should have been replaced a while ago, satellite TV was down during my stay, internet wasn't working the second day. On the good side, the lady at the reception was really helpful with a few requests

Ontbijt sober. Ontvangst was er niemand, maar sleutel lag klaar met briefje. Er was wel een bar, maar dat was zelfservice. Kamers waren schoon, maar verouderde badkamer.

Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel ist leider etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Frühstück ist sehr minimalistisch. Sauna nur gegen hohen Aufpreis. Kühlschrank im Zimmer kühlt leider nicht genug.

Het is ooit een pracht hotel op een mooie locatie geweest. Maar door achterstallig onderhoud en slecht opgeleid personeel jammer genoeg in verval geraakt.

Hotel wirkt heruntergekommen. Auf dem Balkon hat es überall rausstehende Nägel. Keine Klimaanlage, es war sehr heiss! Konnten Balkontüre nicht offen lassen, da Zimmernachbarn Raucher waren. Sehr ringhörig. Nachbarn haben bis in alle Nacht telefoniert und ferngesehen....Reception unbesetzt. Schlüssel waren hinterlegt. Türschloss klemmt, haben Schlüssel nicht mehr ohne Hilfe aus dem Schloss gekriegt. Alles in allem sehr enttäuschend.

Der var ingen service da vi ankom, selvom det var lige kl. 15 hvor de skulle have været der. I et nøgle skab hang en nøgle til andet værelse end det vi var tildelt. Hotellet virkede lukket, men der var dog lidt andre gæster. Elendig bruser men Morgenmaden var rimelig ok

Außen hui innen pui
Die Außenansicht des Hotels ist sehr sauber und schön. Bereits am Empfang fiel mir die Renovierungsbedürftigkeit bereits auf. Das erste mir zugewiesene Zimmer war offensichtlich noch bewohnt bzw. Betten nicht hergerichtet und gebrauchte Handtücher waren im Zimmer verteilt. Das zweite Zimmer war sehr klein und mit 3 Betten ausgestattet. Die Möbelierung bedarf dringend einer Erneuerung. Der Teppich erzählt duch die Flecken seine eigene Geschichte dich ich gar nicht wissen möchte. Das in moosgrün gehaltene Badezimmer ist so klein, dass es mir nicht möglich war mich bei geschlossener Tür abzutrocknen, die Toilettenbenutzung könnte für Schwergewichtige problematisch werden. ´Die auf dem Bett liegenden Handtücher waren nicht nur feucht sondern noch nass und mussten ausgetauscht werden, ebenso die Bettdecke. Von der Hotellterrasse konnte das gesamte Zimmer eingesehen werden. Die Rezeption ist nur bis 19.00 Uhr besetzt. Sauna oder ein Besuch des Restaurants waren nicht möglich. Nach 19.00 konnte ich im Hotel auch nichts mehr zu trinken erhalten und musste ins Dorf laufen. Das Frühstück bestand aus einem lieblos dahingestellten Buffet - die Auswahl war im Vergleich zu anderne 3 Sterne Hotels sehr gering. Die Brötchen waren offensichtlich aufgebacken. Die Wurstauswahl vom Discounter. Die Tische waren nicht eingedeckt. Das zur Verfügung stehende Geschirr war noch feucht. Der Kaffe war in einer 3 Liter Warmhaltekanne und schmeckte dementsprechend.

Wir hatten mehr erwartet. Die Enttäuschung wäre nicht so groß gewesen, wenn die Beschreibung mehr mit der Realität übereingestimmt hätte. Unser Zimmer war etwas in die Jahre gekommen, im Treppenhaus hingen die W-Lan-Router schräg an der Wand, die Kabel dazu baumeln darunter, der Kaffee war einer der schlechtesten, den ich je vorgefunden habe. Aber am schlimmsten war es für mich, das erste Mal (als Vielreisender) in einem Hotel einen Unfall gehabt zu haben. Der Terrassenstuhl brach unter mir zusammen. Ich hatte eine Schürfwunde am Unterarm. Und es lag nicht an meinem Gewicht alleine, denn der Stuhl hatte einen Vorschaden, der zugegebenermaßen wohl schwer zu entdecken war. Ich will das Hotel aber nicht ganz so schlimm erscheinen lassen. Die Lage ist sehr schön, die Unterbringung unserer Räder war problemlos, und wir wurden auch nett behandelt. Von der Terrasse hat man einen wunderbaren Blick. Immerhin kam man mir wegen des kleinen Unfalls beim Bezahlen entgegen, allerdings nicht freiwillig sondern erst auf Nachfrage.

Die Homepage des Hotels entspricht nicht der Wirklichkeit. Das Hotel bietet nur Übernachtung mit Morgenessen an. Das Hotelrestaurant, wie auch der Wellnessbereich waren nicht verfügbar. Im Schlafzimmer fehlte beim linken Bett das Nachttischlämpchen, keine Möglichkeit, in der Nacht Licht anzuschalten! Der kleine Fernseher entspricht nicht mehr heutigem Standard. Das Angebot des Morgenessens entsprach unsern Bedürfnissen voll und ganz.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per due giorni utilizzandolo come punto di appoggio per visitare i paesini della Foresta Nera. L'albergo si trova ai margini di un paesino molto carino, ma la strada per raggungerlo è veramente molto stretta. I parcheggi nei pressi dell'albergo sono molto limitati, ma è possibile utilizzare il grande parcheggio che si trova ai piedi della collina (4 minuti per salire per il sentiero attrezzato, che di notte è scarsamente illuminato - i lampioni si spengono automaticamente dopo tre minuti). Le camere dove abbiamo soggiornato erano molto grandi e spaziose, ma abbastanza vecchie. In camera sono presenti televisori a tubo catodico da 14'' (era un po' che non ne vedevo), e nel mio caso non era funzionante; comunque non ne abbiamo sentito la mancanza in quanto le camere si affacciano su un balcone comune molto carino con dei tavoli che da sulla piccola valle, e quindi ne abbiamo approfittato per 4 chiacchiere serali. L'aspetto peggiore dell'albergo è purtroppo la colazione. Pochissimi succhi, e molto meno pane (quelllo che veniva servito era ancora congelato al suo interno). Ala fie ci siamo arrangiati con marmellate e toasts, che però ci hanno prtato via un sacco di tempo.

Alle beschreibungen zuerst auf Russisch dann Deutsch, kein Englich. Ausstattung veraltert. Teppiche ekelhaft. Im Bad waren Haargummis vom Vorgänger. Klobrille war Kaputt Bzw. Locker. Das kleinste TV seit langem, Empfang brach dauernd ab. Aussenanlagen wie Teich und Kneipenbad waren verdreckt. Gelbe Säcke stapelten sich. Als ich am 2. Tag zurück kam war mein Zimmer nicht abgesperrt! Beim Frühstück war alles vom Discounter. Besteck war nicht immer sauber.

Hôtel situé dans une station de moyenne montagne, très calme en été. Sous la forme d'un grand chalet avec beaucoup de cachet. Chambre simple avec un balcon idéal pour profiter du paysage. Un peu vieillot mais très propre et fonctionnel.

The hotel was really nice. Quiet and comfortable rooms. We got nice tips on where to go the afternoon to swim and relax. The breakfast was good. The only minor inconvenience that happened was that we realized we had not asked for the wireless code and no one was there to give it to us in the evening so we had to wait for the morning after.
