National forest is literally a few feet from the back porch. The kitchen is well appointed, and you need nothing when you stay here. This is probably the only place you can stay that has central heat and air. We spent a lot of time on the porch. Alpine AZ is a lovely small community, but you can go out to dinner if you want to.
