I appreciated the clear communication from the host who was very responsive and helpful with any inquiries or special requests I had. The property was stocked with essentials such as towels, sheets, extra blankets and plates/cups/cutlery which made the stay that much more convenient. It is definitely remote but those stars you could see so vividly. Bob is informative and really nice by messenger. Owners were not present during our stay but regardless it wouldn’t have been an issue for me. Glad we pre-bought our snacks/drinks because there are no grocery stores or gas station near by. We drove to Big Bend everyday to hike and we bought a couple of things from a small grocery store to cookout at the house versus eating out, we loved the setup to cook and star gaze at the same time. It Is a drive to and from the park but what you get at this house versus what’s to rent in Terlingua Definitely out weighs it.
