We were skiing in the French Alps for the first time and choose La Clusaz. We stayed at the very comfortable, conveniently located, Hotel Beaulieu. We loved our 6 person room with a view of the mountains. It was really convenient to have breakfast right in the hotel. We also used the pool of the neighboring hotel. Thanks for a great stay!

Well worth a visit
Nice hot l a short walk from the centre of town. Hotel reception and bar area nice after a full day on the slopes. Would suggest you hire skis near the slope as you wouldn’t want to walk them back up the hill.

Very nice little hotel, newly redecorated. Excellent breakfast, room small but very nicely arranged. Note though that the hotel is not directly next to the slopes - it is not possible to ski from door. One has to walk (or take a bus) to the different ski lifts and it is uphill on the return. So best option is to store the skis by the ski lifts or at a ski rental shops - the hotel has an arrangement with one.

Use of a great swimming pool in sister hotel next door. Friendly, helpful staff and good self-service breakfast. Rooms a bit cramped and thin walls but great south facing balcony. Free ski bus to slopes at end or road.

Very nice stay
We were upgraded to the Carolina which is the sister hotel. Having stayed at Beaulieu the previous winter, I can say that the rooms are essentially identical. The only benefit of Carolina is that the pool is in the same building. The hotel is cozy, rooms are small, location is great. All in all this is a very good accommodation in La Clusaz.

Very pleasant stay. I recommend this hotel.
We were at the hotel during Summer. The location of the hotel is amazing. Just one block from the main street, it's very good when you need a quiet place. It's super close to the aquatic park of the city. The breakfast is really good with high quality products for a 2 stars (delicious bread, coffee and croissants - and a lot of more options). The service at the breakfast and to clean the room was really good. Just 2 points to improve : - the French person at the reception not very pleasant by phone or face to face. - there is a parking at the hotel but with very limited parking spots so it was not easy to park every day. It was a very pleasant stay. I recommend it.

Good value and accommodation for a short break
Whilst basic the hotel was everything we needed for a short weekend ski trip. Small room had plenty of storage and a fantastic shower room. Beds were extremely comfortable after a long day and the plentiful breakfast set us up well for the day's skiing.

Decent hotel but poor service
Decent location not far from the slopes. Excellent and large breakfast and the rooms were small but adequate. However, walls were paper thin and the cleaner threw away some of our own toiletries. Very difficult to find a member of staff to assist us - no one was there to tell guests what was going on when a fire alarm went off at 1am, and it took us 20 mins to find someone to check us in.

All you need
Good hotel, close to town, about 5 mins walk to the Bossonet lift and 10 mins to the Patinoire lift. Lots of breakfast choice and a lovely view from the breakfast room. Simple place but pretty much all you need for a good break in a beautiful, small town in the mountains.

Small rooms, but with spectacular views. Very clean. Great staff. Associated with the Hotel Carlina -so the pool, bar, breakfast were in the hotel next door - a tad inconvenient, but very nice.

The dark hotel
The hotel was basically closed when we arrived, we had to check in at the next door hotel. Reception area was dimly lit - quite intimidating and when we asked if more lights could be turned on, this was declined. Not particularly welcoming. Basic and functional

For the price we paid, we found this hotel a good surprise in terms of overall quality. Very good service at the front desk, room very clean and daily house keeping was perfect as well. Excellent mountain view from the balcony and what we liked the most was the breafast. Definitely recommend to everyone!

The hotel was comfortable and clean with plenty of facilities in the sister hotel next door. The only downside is the car parking arrangements for both of the hotels, if you arrived late there were no spaces available. During the summer season the Beaulieu relies on the sister hotel next door for the bars and restaurant facilities as their facilities are closed there is also no manned reception. The rooms are in a good state of repair and are cleaned every day.

Clean, good hotel located at top of village up hill, but near near lot of the restaurants at the top of the village. Been back twice now so perfect for the short ski break.

Great hotel in quiet street but less than 5mins walk to good selection of bars / restaurants. Very friendly staff, great breakfast & comfy beds. 10mins walk to gondolas but ski hire/storage deal at Sport 2000 makes it ok.

Upgraded to Hotel Carlina
Apparently it was worth it to the hotel to upgrade us to the 3 star Carlina. Friends had a tiny room; we had a lovely room with balcony overlooking the church. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Special kudos go to Celine!!! Downrated on cleanliness due to water marks in the shower....otherwise all was perfection! Merci beaucoup!

Cheap but Excellent!
I feared the worse when booking this hotel because of how cheap it was! It really surprised... really clean, good breakfast, nice comfortable rooms although small, use of pool next door, close vicinity to the local pool offering great views of the slopes whilst chilling in the hot tub outside!, a short walk to the shops & centre..... Overall very good & the room had great views of the slopes & centre (worth paying a few euros extra for this)!

Lovely place, far above its 2 star rating
Very pleasant hotel with helpful staff. A little walk up from the centre of town but no problem. Leave your skis at Le Schuss or Ski3000 near the gondolas so you don't have to walk up in ski boots. Very easy to get to restaurants via some steps nearly opposite the end of the road. Or can walk down the main road to the town centre and slopes. Very pleasant room. Ours faced the back but nice and quiet. Have a room at the front if you want the views. Good breakfast with lots of choice. Can eat dinner here but we went into town each night for that as plenty of choice for all pockets there. Would recommend this hotel.

Hotel wasn't worth it.
The hotel was actually fairly difficult to get to from the airport. As far as getting to the ski lifts, prepare to walk down three hills. It wasn't close at all. The only good thing I can say is that the breakfast was top notch.
