"I loved this hotel. It's very much off the beaten path, but if solitude and beautiful scenery is what you're looking for, it's perfect. The hiking in the area is terrific and there is a fabulous swimming lake within walking distance of the hotel. The staff was the friendliest I've ever experienced. I will definitely be back!"

"Our family had a great time here. Staff were good with the kids and there's a nice mix of kids activities and adult spa and relaxation. Food was generous and healthy and value overall fine. There were a few minor annoyances - restrictive pool hours, automatic lighting and difficult to decipher aircon in room but all in all we had an excellent visit. "

"All of the staff at the Plaza, were great. But Robert, seemed to be everywhere, performing any task, all the time. He easily shifted to cater to each of his client's language, customs and needs, and always with a big smile. And Barbara couldn't have been any kinder, nor more helpful to us. "Wonderful staff, beautiful hotel, fantastic location. Five minutes walk from train station. The only problem was that the air conditioner was difficult to maintain at a comfortable temperature for sleeping so we were hot at night. The staff tried to help and gave us a fan which did help some. The problem was that the temperature had to be controlled at the front desk with a computer. The night manager came to our room and tried multiple times to fix it on the computer but it didn’t work. We are used to a cool sleeping temperature at home do the nights were a bit difficult. However, everything else about the hotel is excellent so we would stay here again. "
