A good place to stay
Check-in was easy and quick. We were given number 112 apartment. Unfortunately, it stank of cigarette smoke, the Wi-Fi didn't work there (we learned that very few of the apartments can access the Wi-Fi) and the TV didn't work. We were reallocated number 85- immediately opposite the reception area and it was great!

Dirty everything! I had to clean bathroom on arrival also cleaned all pots,utensils, teapot, kettle, coffee pot also wiped inside the fridge. Underneath the beds was very dusty. This was supposed to be a deluxe apartment but definitely not.We were only staying for the week and did not want to move as the apartment was in a very quiet area. The gardens are beautiful. The wifi is really bad and had to go to bars to use theirs. Would not stay again.

No hassle, no bother.
We arrived early but the Manager could not have been more friendly or helpful. We had two apartments in the same small block. They were very well equipped, clean tidy and quite spacious. We were just out of the season start so many places were closed including the pool areas but those open served good food at good prices. Huge beach just a short walk away.

Good location, good value and good service.
We amended this booking only the day before our arrival. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive. We had two apartments very close together for 2 nights. Both apartments were well appointed and well cared for. The gardens were immaculate. The beach was only a very short walk away and was well kept. The local food was good but not very Spanish. I would be happy to recommend this resort.

Nice hotel close to the beach
Hotel reception staff were very helpful and couldn't do enough for us. We were upgraded to a bright sunny 2 bed apartment as our 1bed apartment was in total shade and had nowhere to sit outside. It was also facing the main road. The hotel grounds were lovely and well maintained.

Excellent gates type community , the grounds are beautifully kept - clean , tidy and with stunning flower beds etc . The apartment itself was spacious , although tired . We were situated right next to a small children's playground - which was lovely for our kids - except when the Spanish children were still playing there at 12 am and being very noisy ! The sofa bed was awful - very uncomfortable and not very stable . The air conditioning unit was good . We are down on the beach ( 3 minute walk ) there are some really lovely restaurants . Highly recommend Millionaire club for breakfast and Bistro for good British food or the one on the corner as you come into the village ( with a life size pirate in the window !) - can't recall the name - excellent wine and paella . Pool is basic but nice - excellent life guards on call. So if you want a non chaotic , beach side apartment complex - I would recommend - good value for money .

Well positioned, close to the beach and restaurants. Car parking can be a touch difficult in the evenings though and the directions to the property could do with improvement. In summary though a good acceptable Hotel.

Typically Spanish. We loved the area, proximity to beach, restaurants and Super market. Also water park within 10 minutes drive. Would help to speak at least some Spanish as not so much English spoken here, although everyone very friendly. Resort good, not luxurious but clean with simple furnishings. Good value for money. Only one frustration was the lack of wifi, and the one available in common areas was next to useless. However we had a great holiday, very relaxing, great beach & pool. Good amenities. Car useful but not essential once you are at the resort

Appartments were nice, nothing flash but functional and fantastic value, also secure gated and locked grounds so great for peace of mind with Children, decent relaxing pool area and a little playground in the compound, close enough to the beach with great walking area on the beach front perfect for families with a great ice cream parlour not too far away to reward the walking:)

Pool bar closed. Food was terrible. Total waste of money paying for all inclusive as you only get a drink at meal times. No hot tub or gym, apartments are clean but there are no balconies or outside seating. Not much to do in the area but the beach is only a five minute walk away. I ended up leaving a day early as it was not a great place to stay.

Very disappointed as 2 keys sold to me as a 3 star very basis with no wifi in the room a dangerous hairdryer as wires were showing and the place was extremely difficult to find I had the car broken into whilst parked outside the reception too! An absolute mistake!!!

Appartment was excellent value for the money, it was a good size and had all that you need but it did look tired It was also quite difficult to find. The swimming pool was good.It is very near to restaurants. Easy parking. Would stay again.

if you want a relaxing holiday this is for you
The apartment was clean and comfortable. The pool and gardens are beautiful. The pool bar is run independantly from the hotel but you get 10% discount there on your food and drinks.in the brochure in the apartment it also said they had a happy hour from 4pm to 6pm when you would get two drinks for one.unfortunately when I asked I was told they no longer did this. the brochure should be amended to avoid future disappointment. Vera Playa is beautiful and unspoilt Spain If you are looking for night life go somewhere else. if you are looking for wonderful food at very reasonable prices go to the Bistro restaurant.

I loved this resort. The apartment had everything I needed and the gardens are beautiful, full of flowering trees and shrubs, the smell of jasmine every evening, divine. The beach is just a few, 3/4 minutes walk away and no high rise buildings. Lovely pool, friendly staff. Ideal for families and anyone looking for a ´Spanish resort´. A few bars and restaurants nearby, especially nice is The Bistro and a short walk on the promenade to Garrucha, the nearest town. The weather for the last two weeks of September was great, sunny and warm, about 28degrees.

My overall pression of the place is good. The apartments were lovely however we found the bathroom disgusting. The furniture in the bedroom and the living area were nice and new whereas the bathroom was very dated, old, didn't smell nice and the bath was so dirty, literally black and couldn't be washed off. The hotel has 2 swimming pools whoch were alright and a restaurant. We only had dinners over there, the food was ok but not amazing. The thing we didn't like was that there was no wifi in the apartments so we used to go to the swimming pool to use it. We found the staff quite unhelpful unfortunately. When we asked them for directions and suggestions for places to see they couldn't help us with anything. Didn't speak english that well either. Location to us wasn't best as we like to be active and do stuff and that town was very quite and there was nothing to do.. I'd say it would be suitable for people who are not interested in doing stuff and who prefer to stay in the hotel most of the time. Not sure if it's suitable for kids as there wasn't much to do for them either.

We really enjoyed the stay for the price we paid! It'd be great even for the twice bigger price! The appartment was clean, good equiped kitchen, bedroom and a living room with a sofa bed. There was everything you might need during your stay.Nice gardens and 2 pools outside, kinder playground. It's a shame thought the pool is open 10-19, so kids were upset when found it closed after returning from the beach... Wifi works just close beside the pools area, but it's holidays from other hand, and pretty good to forget this and enjoy your stay. The bars and the beach is right behind the corner)

The place is like having a house in the Mediterranean. It's luxurious and close to many restaurants. Best if you stay for more than one night. The gardens and other landscaping are just enchanting. Make sure you have a GPS to get to the place.

We spent 2 hours looking for this hotel and went past it several times as it was sign posted Vera Coast or Vera Beach, no one knew of it locally and when we eventually found it only the reception had a small sign showing Infiniti Beach above the door! However it is a lovely, well kept complex, ideal for the beach and ammenities locally. It is mainly spanish families staying here and as they generally stay up late e.g eat at 11pm it can be noisy. The grounds and buildings are lovely as are the swimming pools. When I made booking for this hotel, the price shown was £150.00 in total for 2 people in a standard room x 6 nights. However when we came to pay and settle the bill the receptionist asked me for over E300.00 euros!I cannot remember the exact amount as I was shocked and had to look for original booking email on my Iphone which came up as E37.38 per night so a total of E224.28 was paid. I felt very uncomfortable about this discrepancy and the embarrassment of having to find proof of my original booking and the price quoted so would want to warn others what could happen.

Thoroughly enjoyed stay and area. Did not enjoy smell of stagnant water coming from beachside 'lake'. Both my friend and I are elderly and find showers in the bath difficult to get in and out. A handrail would have helped considerably or shower only. Most people of all ages prefer showers these days. Kitchen counter top in very poor condition in apartment 61

We met up here with friends. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would go again. The resort is really nice, especially the garden areas. The only complaint is our self contained unit was rather worn. Would recommend the little Spanish cafe restaurant more or less opposite on the other side of the road. Good food.

In june 2013 there was lots of building work going on in preparation for the busy time when Spanish schools closed. Work was required due to recent flooding in the area however our room was immaculately clean, gardens and surrounding area well looked after and mess was kept to a minimum whilst repairs etc were being done. Lovely place and will be even better when work is finished, hopefully in time for the busy period starting at beg of July. Looked like all apartments had been refurbished and ours was no exception. Two outdoor pools were in good condition with a pool bar and restaurant attached. We did not get round to eating at either therefore cannot comment. We were lucky to find complex quiet due to time of year and would definitely consider going back there next year. Excellent value for money

With the right apartment it would be good
I have downmarked the 'comfort' because the apartment I had was very poorly situated - on one side my bedroom window opened out (on the ground floor) straight on to the path and road (so no windows or curtains could be left open) and on the other side the living room window was very close to one of the site entrances and so people were walking past all the time. Also the site claimed to have internet available (for a charge) in the apartments - I found that the internet did not apply to my apartment. The local area was quite depressing as most of the shops had been closed down (not an out of season problem).

Surprisingly pleasant, quiet location near beach.
The Vera Beach Club is well maintained with friendly staff. My one bedroom apartment had a living room and kitchen area ( microwave, electric hob, oven and washing machine). The decor was very simple with white painted walls. The sofa and arm chair were a nasty lime green. The bed was hard. The Club consists of small 2 storey villas split into 2 apartments. Access to top floor is by outside staircase. First floor apartments have 2 small balconies. I imagine in high season it could be quite noisy owing to the closeness of the properties. Grounds were well maintained with paved walkways and lots of planting including neatly trimmed trees, many with interesting shapes. There was an outside swimming pool with sun beds. A second outdoor pool was closed for maintenance. There was a childrens' play area. On the complex was a small health club (extra charge). This seems to be used by local residents. You need to have a swimming cap to use the indoor pool. The weights room is cramped with a multi-gym and some free weights. It is rather run down but adequate. I did not use the restaurant on site. There is a large supermarket a short drive on the main road to Garrucha. The surrounding area is mixed residential and commercial. Many commercial properties were closed. I did not use any of the nearby bars or restaurants. The beach is a few minutes’ walk away and is very clean and stretches for miles. I liked the Vera Beach Club and would stay again.

Is it an apartment hotel with everything needed in a gated area. Quite area and walking distance to the beach. Pool. Food in the restaurant was good. The service in the rest. could be better. On Sundays they have a fantastic jazz sax players.

Having stayed in one or two Spanish resorts I had "realistic" expectations about the Vera Beach Club. I was wrong. It was excellent. the staff were very friendly and most helpful. A couple of minor problems in the room were fixed literally within minutes. The apartment was service 3 times induring the 10 day stay and left very nice. Good welcome pack and everything one could need in the apartment itself. The exercise centre was a ral surprise, good size indoor pool, nice and warm, spotless, with a jacuzzi, sauna and a small but perfectly adequate with a good range of equipment. The resort grounds are neatly maintained, it is 2 minutes from a nice beach, maybe 3 minutes from a decent chinese restaruant and perhaps 12 minutes from down town Garrucha - a nice Spanish fishing village. If there is a "fault" the restaurant on site is a little expensive. Higly recommended.

Vera Beach Club
This is a large-sized property sharing space with a timeshare. Car parking is outside the boundaries of the club, and inside all navigation is by foot. VBC has a rather confusing layout for the first-time visitor, and it may take you a half hour or more to figure out where your room is. VBC provides a map to the rooms, but it is confusing and does not show the time share part of the property. Inside the room, all was fine. The units are set up as self-catering, which will appeal to long-term visitors. The bars and restaurants on the periphery of the property are good and surprisingly very competitively-priced.

Es un sitio muy bonito, como un pueblecito blanco y te sientes muy segura. Cerca de la playa y restaurantes, realmente es ideal para unas vacaciones de relax. Los apartamentos son confortables. Lo que sí hay que decir es que el mantenimiento ya no es lo que era y hay cosas que quizás ya deberían haber sido cambiado o arreglado y no parece que lo están haciendo. Por ejemplo la bañera era muy vieja, la ducha perdiendo agua, una TV muy antiguo, etc. Eso no resta a la estancia y lo hemos pasado de maravilla, pero es una pena ver que no renuevan las cosas.
