This place is close to Dorney park. Service was good. Carpet was somewhat dirty but they are working on renovating the facility. Rooms are big for a family

The Allenwood is tucked away in a seemingly rural area, even though there are nearby freeways. It is well managed and close to shopping such as the amazing Wegman's store. We chose it because it's a 15-min drive to Macungie Park, the site of the dog show we were going to attend (but the motel doesn't accept dogs). The couple who run the place were very helpful in getting us what we needed and we'd definitely stay there again.

Nothing special about this place. For seasoned cheap motelers only. Basic cleanliness, AC was very good. WiFi was sketchy. It's at the dead end of a street with businesses. In the middle of the night, there were no outside lights and the parking lot was completely dark.

I had a terrible experience at this motel. The room had no heating and no hot water, which is completely unacceptable, especially in cold weather. When I went to the front desk to ask for another room, the staff were very rude and unprofessional. Instead of helping, they treated me disrespectfully. Because the room was not livable, I left the motel. I believe I should be fully reimbursed, since they did not provide the basic conditions promised. I do not recommend this place to anyone.
