Guest are welcome to walk on the property as they like and always welcome to visit the winery for a free wine tasting. We live on the property and it is still a working cattle ranch along with the vineyard and winery. You can observe the cattle grazing in the pasture behind our home or they my even graze close to the cabins. We often see deer and a few times a year see wild turkey. The owners were kind and pleasant to talk with when we went to visit the winery. I arrived the day after Thanksgiving and had no rooms available. My booking was confirmed three weeks prior. This was a horrible experience. I would not recommend. What should have been a fun filled weekend with my spouse and dogs ended up being ruined. The owner offered nothing for our wasted time and inconvenience. At first she lied saying she responded to me saying it was already booked, but later in the conversation she finally saw my booking and it wasn't until we got off the phone that I received the cancellation notice for my refund. We walked over to the winery and enjoyed a tasting, then walked back with several bottles and some goodies. The wine was phenomenal. Bring some board games, books, art supplies, fishing gear. The cabin was very cute. We enjoyed the pond and had a campfire in front of our cabin. We walked over to the winery and brought home lots of bottle of wine for later! Be sure to bring the food for your stay as there isn't really anywhere to eat out, however, we were able to have food delivered one day- it was delicious!
