After booking with Expedia I arrived to find because it's was a Sunday my booking payment hadn't been sent from Expedia to the hotel so I had to pay again. Rook old fashioned, smelt, air con not work. Key slot for light fell off the wall. Quiet location though

Pretty basic hotel. No tea/coffee facilities in room. No water available with the evening meal unless you paid for it. Good times for check in and check out - both at 1200.

Regarding my stay at the venus
from the moment I checked in, the place was spotless, the hotel reception, the bedrooms, pool area, couldn’t have wanted more, I went for the first time ever, on my own, but I had no need to worry, cause everyone, was so welcoming.

Lovely hotel and very friendly staff. Good food and very clean. No noise at night even though you are by the entertainment zone. Not for stag and hens and drunken groups.

Great trip, really clean, would go back. Free car park (off season at least) would be better as it was practically empty & cost us 40 euros for two cars for two days. Neither of which were used during our stay

Fab location but noisy if rooms are by main road
Fab location fir a hotel close to everything just ask for a room poolside,rooms small but clean and tidy Meals were average ,not a huge choice ,staff all very friendly

In brief. Great hotel in a great location and food was great. Plenty choice at breakfast and dinner and only 1 euro 80 for a beer. Ony criticism might be that room were a tad small.

Great location. Round the corner from bars and clubs and five minutes to the beach. Staff really friendly and helpful!! Food good and plentiful, plus fab cocktails in the hotel bar!! Heartily recommended! Xx

Good hotel but...
Hotel was in a great location close to bars and restaurants and rooms we're clean and comfortable in general. Only one complaint was that, despite 27c temperatures, no aircon available in bedrooms due to not being in the summer season ( April in my case). Sleeping with the patio door open was NOISY!

Excellent hotel and staff, close to all amenities.
Reception staff went out of their way to accommodate my requirements. Good selection of hot food and salad always available, freshly cooked fish of the day and meat grilled on request. Amazing restaurant manager (unfortunately didn't get his name) who, upon mentioning I couldn't have sugar, presented me every night at dinner with a specially prepared sugar-free pudding!! The only minor fault with my stay, was the size and comfort of my single bed, being rather uncomfortable and narrow. Well positioned, spotlessly-clean, hotel close to all amenities, but not noisy. Good sized pool which got the sun all day and plenty of sun beds. Will definitely stay again.

The hotel was great, food excellent and staff friendly and very helpful. Christmas gala dinner was very good and drinks at the bar were 2 for 1. The only thing that spoiled it for us were the rooms (4 in 2 rooms) The beds were very hard and non of us slept well for 4 nights, the walls let every noise through and the man next door coughed all night for 4 nights (we know he could not help it) the glass bathroom door had a large gap all the way round so you had no privacy using the facilities. Other than the room, we had a fantastic time there.

Very close to the night life but extremely noisy in the early hours. Coupled with the hard beds I found it difficult to sleep through the noise. The room was clean and the staff all very courteous and friendly.

Lovely hotel for a short getaway
We have just come back from a short break and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel was lovely. We had a room on the eighth floor overlooking the pool- lovely views and at night it all lit up. The food was very good - plenty of choice each day and catered for vegetarians well as well. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others. Benidorm was a nice town - very lively at night so not for you if you want a quiet break! My only negative comment was the bathroom door! If you have stayed here you will know what I mean! I would go back to the Venus again if I came back to Benidorm.
