The hotel was clean with nice rooms and public spaces. Nice breakfast and a sauna/jacuzzi for guests. It is 15 mins to the old town, a pleasant walk on the promenade. The restaurant in the hotel was nice too, we had to eat there a couple of evenings. Overall we had a really nice stay, I would stay there again!

Great hotel but needs better management of staff.
This is a lovely hotel, very modern, clean and comfortable. I would stay here again apart from one thing. The staff at the breakfast buffet every morning were shocking. They stand around talking to each other and leave tables uncleared for long periods. When you ask for anything you feel like you are an inconvenience to them and they are so abrupt. This spoilt my stay at the hotel.

Superb hotel close to city center
An excellent choice for a short break in Alicante. The Marina, Beach, Castle and city Centre all walkable within 10 - 20 minutes from this hotel. Hotel has a rooftop pool with fantastic views and a jacuzzi and steam room on the sixth floor again with good views. Hotel restaurant and bar are comfortable with good service, good food and sensibly priced too. Rooms are very comfortable and quiet. Reception staff also very helpful. Would definitely use this AC Marriott hotel again if in Alicante.

Lovely hotel and its staff and facilities
What an amazing place. Lovely and welcoming staff, excellent in their manners, lovely feel, brilliant breakfast, clean rooms and excellent toilet/bath facilities. Prime location too that was a great help. Silvia at reception and all her colleagues, Gracias por la hospitalidad! If i do return to Alaqant, I shall definitely endeavour to stay at your lovely hotel.

Very, very slow check on with trainee, being supervised. Given check-in paperwork in Spanish despite UK passport, had to ask for English. Building site next outside room 302. Despite green lights on sockets, USB and power sockets didn't charge in the far right of room. Channels 1-60 and not a single in English. Not suitable for international travellers based on above.

Excellent hotel. Very clean and excellent service. My only criticism is that the hotel is still currently under construction so I was woken up by the sound of diesel generators every morning. Hopefully this issue will be sorted when the construction is complete.

This hotel choice for my family of 4 people was a great choice and was a very comfortable stay - due to the EXCELLENT air conditioning in the rooms, the very large bathroom, and the very spacious room, that had sliding doors so we can have our children stay on the sofa bed while we could separate in the main bedroom. The provided toiletries were very nice and helpful. Did not utilize the pool since we went to the beaches most days, but its a nice play to get some food and drinks, and see some great views of Castle Santa Barbara. We purchased the all inclusive breakfast so that we could be well fed in the morning and then starting our daily adventures; the food was quite nice with the highlights being the breakfast pastries, variety of juices, and Nespresso machines. The staff were quite good about cleaning up tables, keeping food stations clean and organized, and having plenty of food throughout the morning breakfast time slot. The hotel may not be the most central area of Alicante, but we enjoyed that it was in a clean, safe, and very quiet area of Alicante, and it was less than 15 minutes away from Alicante Airport which was extremely helpful! As a side note, we rented a car and parked it for two nights in the parking lot of the hotel, and did not realize that it was an incredibly tight garage with small parking spaces, so if you use it, drive slowly, drive very carefully, and be patient so as to not damage your car.
