« Checkin was simple, all the villa appliances felt like new, extremely clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing 4 nights stay. The grounds are so lovely with an outdoor kitchen, perfect for bbqs! We felt safe at all times due to shutters on the windows and gated property. Located in a Spanish village, 20 mins drive from Mijas. We loved our stay and will be back :) »

« We spent a week at Finca Santa Matilde in September with our young children and their grandparents. The reception from Juan Carlos was fantastic, he met us at the local supermarket to make sure we would find the house and access it properly. Around a 20 minute drive from Malaga city, you will need a car to get about (I wouldn’t fancy walking the hill to the local Aldi!!) but the distance means you get a location that is an absolute antidote to the stress and bustle of city living. "Notre expérience dans cet hôtel a été extrêmement décevante. Dès l’arrivée, le check-in s’est mal passé. Malgré la forte pluie, il n’y avait aucun accueil clair et il était difficile de trouver la réception. La chambre était prête, mais il faisait très froid : le chauffage ne fonctionnait pas et la température n’était que de 17°C. Nous avons appelé un technicien, qui n’est venu qu’une demi-journée plus tard en affirmant que le problème était réglé. Pourtant, la nuit suivante, le chauffage ne fonctionnait toujours pas. Après une nouvelle plainte à la réception — qui s’est montrée peu serviable — on nous a finalement donné des radiateurs électriques pour le reste du séjour, ce qui est loin d’être acceptable. En plus de cela, nous avons eu des voisins extrêmement bruyants. La première nuit, ils ont fait la fête jusqu’à 5h du matin et ont réveillé toute la résidence. La sécurité est intervenue, mais ils ont recommencé la nuit suivante à 3h du matin. Cette fois, nous avons dû intervenir nous-mêmes. Le lendemain, nous avons reçu un appel de l’hôtel sans véritables excuses. On nous a proposé de changer de chambre pour la dernière nuit, ce que nous avons refusé en demandant plutôt une compensation. Notre demande a été rejetée de manière très désagréable. Compte tenu du froid dans la chambre, du bruit et surtout du mauvais service, nous ne recommandons pas cet hôtel."
