It was cheap...but once there we realised why. Surrounded by dilapidated buildings, 1980's decor and amenities. Tiny shower tray with filthy curtain nothing to clean the place with. Not even basic kitchen things provided. No kettle. No knives!! 1 cup and 3 glasses...leaky fridge rusty around the sides. Impossible to have a wash without flooding the bathroom and the only thing we were given to dry the place was a filthy rag i wouldn't clean my car wheels with. Complacent reception staff. We left early as it was horrible to stay there. AVOID!!

Great place
We booked last minute for Buganvillea and it was lovely. The staff were very helpful. The only possible drawback was although we had a pool view, there was no sun on our balcony at any point throughout the day. Good beach 10 mins walk at Maria Pia. Would def recommend this hotel 😊

Perfect location
The property was in a great location close to the beaches and town. The apartment was basic but clean. My only problem was that I had to sleep in a bunk bed as my mother was in the bedroom and the beds were very creaky so my daughter kept me awake when she moved. Alghero is quit as busy place so there was always noise from outside but the shutters helped. The reception was very helpful and spoke English for the difficult questions. There is also a luggage room with toilets and a shower if you need them. I would stay here again.

We had a lovely sea view....directly above La Playa sports bar and a Pizzeria! Very noisy, even in the mornings (lorries with supplies etc) so took some getting used to. First night we (family of 4 with 6 and 8 y.o.) arrived tired and La Playa had very loud live music (think, ‘Angels’ and Nessun dorma) until 1 am. Fortunately that was the only really bad night. Rooms and pool are clean. Beds are very firm. Air con didn’t work when we arrived (heard others complaining of this too) but fixed quickly. No sharp knives in the kitchen but I think you get that everywhere. It also wouldn’t cost them much to provide a bit of hand washing soap, washing up liquid and cloth. Reception were glacially slow when we had to report the air con failure and I also waited 25 min for someone to call a taxi for us. Won’t be booking again because we prefer Residence Oasis.

Great beach apartment
We were looking for a convenient, spacious, beach apartment. This was exactly as advertised-the view of the beach/water made for great sunset photos. The only minor complaint was the lack of dish cleaning supplies in the kitchen. Everything else was great

Nice hotel close to the beach
Beautiful place,clean and safe to stay. Nice hotel in front of the beach, beautiful view from the balcony, restaurant,ice cream shop, pizza where all under the hotel. Supermarket was 5 minutes walk and a bit expensive but the food was organic. City centre was 20 minutes walk , fun fair, boats you can go on the trip. Lots of people walking on the side of the beach every night from 6 till midnight , safe and comfortable to stay .

Staff were very helpful and we really enjoyed Alghero and surrounding restaurants and sights. Apartments are somewhat dated and could do with some refurbishment . Basic clean holiday accommodation.

Der var meget lydt i leligheden. Især fra restauranten i stueetagen var det voldsomt. Det havde været et stort problem med små bærn eller for mere sarte typer.

Ottima posizione sul lungomare di Alghero con disponibilità di parcheggio interno e supermercato a due passi. Personale cordiale. Appartamento comodo, con balcone, ma trasandato. Il bagno ha una doccia piccola e scomodissima, il phon è assolutamente insufficiente e il letto a castello ha una scaletta che non si aggancia alla struttura risultando molto pericolosa. Livello di pulizia della stanza basso e risulta evidente che è stata data una spazzata veloce con una scopa mentre standard di livello più accettabile richiedono aspirapolvere e migliore igienizzazione dei sanitari nel bagno.

Die schöne Aussicht aus dem Meerblickzimmer über Alghero Stadt und der Sonnenuntergang übers Meer. Die Damen an Rezeption waren sehr hilfsbereit.Wir haben sehr schnell (3 std vor check in) unsere Zimmer bekommen,alles war so einfach,unkompliziert.Die haben auch für uns eine Tour gebucht,Danke dafür an Buganvillea Team!

Läget fantastiskt, trevlig personal. Dock slitna rum, både dusch och spis skulle behöva sig en uppfräschning. Utsikten från rummet utöver havet var mycket vacker.

Vi var her 5 nætter og alt fungerede upåklageligt. Meget hjælpsomme og søde medarbejdere. Ok beliggenhed. Selve komplekset virker lidt slidt, men dejlig pool som bliver rengjort og vedligeholdt hver dag. Der er lydt og dermed noget støj fra de andre lejligheder, men ikke værre end Som så. Kan bestemt anbefales

Alles lief reibungslos. Bei unserer Ankunft außerhalb der Check in-Zeit war eine Nachricht vorzufinden, in der die Zimmernummer hinterlegt war. Die Zimmerausstattung war gut bis sehr gut. Der Meerblick lohnt sich trotz der unschönen Mauer auf der gegenüber liegenden Straßenseite. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist nahezu perfekt.

Noicy hotel in a good location
Perfect location at the beach and still OK distance to the city, but... Very noicy, from the street, from the floor above, from parties on neighbouring balconies and one night from the bar next door. It had sea view but a wall from a modern ruin on the other side of the street took the feeling and reinforced the street noice. Beds and especilly pillows extremly hard, shower the most unconfortably I've ever seen and I travel a lot. No service or very uninterested service. Maintenance man was said to come in some minutes to fix the stove and micro, neither worked, he never came in 6 days. On the positive side. It was clean and in a good location (except for that ruin wall). I normaly never complain and can live simple conditions, but in this one a bit too many things added up.

Hvis forventningene er lave, blir du positivt overrasket! God beliggenhet i forhold til strand og bysentrum. Det er en gåtur på ca 2 km etter strandpromenaden, men den er bare koselig. Hotellet har et hyggelig bassengområdet. Det er aircondition både i soverom og i oppholdsrom (velfungerende), og det er tre soveplasser i oppholdsrom i tillegg til soverom (en køyeseng og en ekstraseng under sofa. WiFi fungerte bare på tidspunkt alle gjester sov eller var ute (typ veldig sent eller veldig tidlig). Minuset var vasking. I løpet av 11 dager, vasket de bare 1 gang! Vi måtte selv koste golv og kaste søppel. Vi fikk nye sengklær og håndklær 1 gang på 11 dager. Hvis dette er viktig for deg, bør du ikke velge dette hotellet. Hvis ikke, - kan dette hotellet trygt anbefales. Vi kommer gjerne igjen!

Wenn nicht das obere Appartement bewohnt wird ist es durch fehlenden Schallschutz schon sehr laut. Es ist natürlich auch ein älteres Gebäude.Bei dem winzigen Fernseher gab es nur italienische Programme ( es regnete des öfteren). Die Außenanlagen z.B. Schwimmbad machte einen gepflegten Eindruck.

Gut und günstig.
Die Unterkunft ist gut und günstig. Gute Lage. Wir waren zu dritt, das Zimmer sehr gross, hätte Schlafmöglichkeit für 6 Personen gehabt.

Fin beliggenhet ca 1 km ifra sentrum, rett ved stranden og mange restauranter rett ved. Supermarked med bakeri rett i nærheten. Anbefaler ikke sjøutsikt pga litt støy ifra restauranter/bar som ligger like ved hotellet. Minus med at det kun blir vasket og skiftet ut håndklær kun 1 gang i uken.

Städning en gång i veckan, slänga och sortera sopor var väl inte vad vi trodde. Men bra pool, nära till strand och restauranger. Alghero som resemålet är kanon för barnfamiljer. Tog ca 20 att gå in till gamla stan.

Hôtel proche de la plage et de la pinède
Hôtel correct nous avions vue sur la piscine (préférable que la rue). Proximité des plages de Alghero et des plages de la pinède à 10 minutes à pied. Le centre de la vieille ville est à 20 minutes à pied, très bien pour éliminer les glaces. Les prix des commerces de proximité sont très corrects, grande déception sur les fruits (sauf sur les pastèques) le reste aucun goût. Les parasols et les transats sont à 20 euros par jour (cher par rapport au reste de l'Italie) avec un personnel pas vraiment agréable et clairement les étrangers ne sont pas vraiment appréciés chez eux. Contrairement aux plages de la pinède (sauf la première plage privée qui ne donne pas de réservation aux étrangers), les autres sont corrects et même agréables et proposent le demi-journée en location. La mer est propre est cristalline, nous retournerons probablement en Sardaigne mais au nord est pour être sur les plus belles plages. Dans l'ensemble très bon séjour si nous ignorons le personnel des plages.

Superbra läge
Toppenbra läge mittemellan Maria Pia-stranden (bästa i Alghero) och gamla stan. Fick snabb och bra service av hotellet när vår toalett gick sönder på kvällen. Inte det roligaste hotellet eller den trevligaste personalen, men helt ok till det priset!

Slidt men hyggeligt med god plads
Der er god plads, men det hele er ved at være slidt ned. Der er en del ildelugtende alger på stranden, så gå 1 km nordpå til den gode lange Marie-Pia strand. Pool-området er i skyggen det meste af dagen. Der er et godt supermarked lige bag hotellet. Udsigten til stranden generes af en grim mur og støjen fra en trafikeret vej.
