Une superbe villa, à l'équipement irréprochable.
Cette villa est incluse dans un lotissement calme à quelques minutes de la mer. Son jardin, sa terrasse, ses équipements extérieurs nous ont enchanté. Mais l'intérieur de la maison et tout aussi impressionnant. La cuisine moderne fort bien équipée, avec ilot est ouverte sur un grand salon très confortablement meublé. Quatre chambres avec très lits doubles sont accessibles à la demande. Deux très jolies salles d'eau avec douches à l'italienne participent à conforter cette impression de grand et élégant confort. Le contact avec les propriétaires est des plus agréables, et les petites attentions surprises trouvées à notre arrivée ont été très appréciées. L'internet (Wifi) fonctionne à merveille. Un petit coup de fil de la propriétaire peu après notre arrivée pour s'assurer que tout allait bien et que rien ne nous manquait a encore ajouté à cette impression de totale sérénité qui ne nous a pas quittés toute la durée de notre séjour. Il convient de remarquer qu'un véhicule est indispensable pour assurer le ravitaillement et bien sûr les ballades dans ces bourgs avoisinant au charme affirmé. En bref, la perfection, je ne sais pas si cela existe, mais là, nous n'en sommes vraiment pas loin. Merci

Miriam assisted immediately via email any of our concerns! Ana, who managed the property was wonderful and accommodating! Kitchen was fully stocked with plates, bowls, silverware, and request for a drip coffee maker was fulfilled. We enjoyed the beaches immensely, a 15 minute walk from the house! This is a small village with very little open in February but we found two other villages close by for restaurants.

Wir waren im Januar 2024 2 Wochen in dem Ferienhaus in Altura und haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr hübsch, nett und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, mit einem Garten und einer Veranda, 3 Zimmern und 2 Bädern. Es war mit drei Radiatoren zu beheizen und nicht nur mit den Klimaanlagen. Das war großzügig und im Januar auch bitter nötig Kompliziert fanden wir die Bedienung des Backofens und des Fernsehers. Im oberen Bad müsste die Technik mal wieder erneuert werden. Die Handbrause funktionierte nicht u.a. wegen Löchern im Schlauch und einer abgebrochenen Halterung . Das Instrumentarium in der Küche müsste ergänzt werden. Die Messer waren stumpf und es gab abgesehen von einer Nespressomaschine keine vernünftige Möglichkeit, Kaffee in nennenswerten Mengen zuzubereiten. Der Ort Altura ist sehr schön. Es gibt Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe und der Strand ist mit dem Rad in 5 Minuten erreichbar. Insgesamt hat das Haus eine positive Bewertung verdient. AS

Liebe Elisabeth, Ich möchte mich herzlich für Ihren konstruktiven Kommentar zu unserem Haus in Altura bedanken. Ihr Feedback ist für uns sehr wertvoll und hilft uns, die Qualität unserer Unterkunft kontinuierlich zu verbessern. Ich kann Ihnen bereits mitteilen, dass nach Ihrem Aufenthalt der Duschkopf sowie die gesamte Halterung durch neues Material ersetzt wurden. Auch die defekte Steckdose wurde ausgetauscht. Bezüglich des Ofens bin ich mir bewusst, dass die Bedienung einiger Geräte mit neuer digitaler Technologie manchmal komplex sein kann. Sobald man jedoch die Zündung des Ofens beherrscht, wird seine Bedienung einfach. Ihre Anmerkung zu den Messern haben wir sehr ernst genommen und diese wurden ebenfalls ersetzt. In Bezug auf die Kaffeezubereitung steht eine Nespresso-Maschine mit einigen Startkapseln zur Verfügung, aber ich könnte auch eine größere Kaffeemaschine bereitstellen. Ich danke Ihnen nochmals für Ihre relevanten Beobachtungen und wünsche Ihnen alles Gute für die Zukunft. :)

Perfect Stay
Es war eine wunderbare Unterkunft für uns. Alles ist so liebevoll und wunderschön eingerichtet. Ich habe mich wie in einem Boho Traum gefühlt. Es ist mir immer sehr wichtig, dass die Unterkünfte sauber sind. Oftmals findet man Dreck oder Staub in Ecken. Aber nicht in dieser Unterkunft. Hier war alles absolut sauber, sodass wir uns alle sehr wohlgefühlt habe. Die Kommunikation mit der Besitzerin war einwandfrei. Sie antwortete immer sehr zeitnah und hat uns bei sämtlichen Anliegen geholfen. Vielen Dank für alles. Wir werden dieses Haus in wundervoller Erinnerung behalten :)

Prachtige vakantiewoning
Ruime en zeer volledig uitgeruste vakantiewoning, zeer smaakvol ingericht. De foto's op de site zijn een correcte weergave van de woning. We verbleven in oktober, en relatief weinig bewoners in de buurt. Mooi weer en leuke tuin zorgden voor een rustig verblijf. Toch wel een aanrader.

Excelente casa de férias, toda equipada. Bem decorada, wc modernos, confortável, com AC em todas as divisões. Espaço agradável cá fora, onde se podem fazer as refeições. Não é muito perto da praia para ir a pé mas o acesso é fácil. Recomendo!

Altura im Mai 2023
Ein sehr schönes und genauso funktionales Ferienhaus. Die Fotos entsprechen genau der Einrichtung. Die Küche ist mit vielen nützlichen Geräten sehr gut ausgestattet. Das ganze Haus wirkt sehr sauber. Überraschend war, dass das Haus über eine Dachterrasse mit einer Aussicht über das Quartier verfügt. Ein wunderbarer Ort um Sonnenauf oder -untergang zu geniessen. Wir haben Fahrräder gemietet (wobei es in Altura im Mai keinen lokalen Vermieter gab) und konnten so schnell ans Meer gelangen. Das Reiheneckhaus liegt in einem Reihenhaus-Quartier mit Vorort-Charakter. Im Quartier wird demnach auch gelebt und der Alltag verbracht. Die Geschäfte für den tägliche Bedarf sind mit dem Fahrrad schnell zu erreichen und auch in Gehdienst nicht zu weit. Wir haben uns im geräumigen Haus sehr wohl gefühlt und konnten den Graten mit dem Zederachbaum und die Dachterrasse ausgiebig geniessen.

Wir haben die Woche sehr genossen. Es ist sehr ruhig gewesen , jedoch war es Ende März und von daher waren nur wenige Apartments in der Umgebung belegt. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden, die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet und bietet genügend Platz für alle. Auch auf der Terrasse stehen genügend Stühle und ein großer Tisch zur Verfügung. Der Supermarkt Pingo Doce ist fußläufig zu erreichen, jedoch ist ein PKW auf jeden Fall von Vorteil. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin ist unkompliziert und bei Anfragen bekamen wir sofort eine Antwort. Gerne wieder!

Een prima locatie!
Een prima locatie maar meer voor de zomer. Praktisch alles was gesloten en de meeste woningen zijn niet bewoond in de winter. Dat maakt het heel ongezellig. Op de woning valt niets aan te merken, de beheerder is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

We really liked the accommodations, felt they were as portrayed, nice yard etc. The location was a disappointment, loud motorcycles almost nightly, no regard for the neighborhood which is a little rundown. All in all we had a good time but would’ve stay at that location again. Another thing, be very careful with car rentals, we rented from Avis at the Faro airport, they are dishonest and trying to get two thousand dollars for two alleged chips in our windshield. TBD!

Pretty good overall
Property excellent, well equipped and clean. Neighbourhood very noisy, close to fast moving traffic and various dogs barking / whining from 0600 and again late at night at 0100. Directions to property very poor, we spent 40 minutes trying to find it on arrival.

Dear Richard, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review of your stay. You were disturbed by the noise at night (dogs) and I can understand that. However, this seaside area remains one of the quietest on the Algarve coast. Despite this, I accept that August is always much busier than the rest of the year. However, if you are looking for peace and quiet during August, I can offer you a house that is inland, 20 minutes drive from the sea, with the same amenities. I am of course sorry that your experience was not perfect. See you soon I hope. Mira

A beautiful house in a quiet area
It was our first time renting a property and our host made it an easy and pleasant experience. The house itself was beautifully finished, modern comfortable and very clean. It’s well situated with groceries, dining and beach all within a short car ride but also walkable.

Lovely Stay
Miriam's place is a lovely place to stay. Close to the beach by car and with cafés, bars and restaurants nearby. Ana, who looks after the property, was really helpful. Lovely outside space which is enclosed so great for us as we had our dog. Both Miriam and Ana answered any questions very promptly. Would definitely book again.

Unser Urlaub in Portugal hat uns wieder einmal sehr gut gefallen. Ganz besonders in diesem wunderschönen Haus in ruhiger Lage. Alle Räume sind geschmakvoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Der Garten ist schön angelegt und gepflegt. Gastgeberin Mira war unkompliziert und sehr nett. Wir kommen gerne wieder!!

Casa bem equipada em termos de loiça, eletrodomésticos, roupas; confortável e com bom espaço exterior. Com crianças pequenas torna-se longe da praia para ir a pé, optamos pelo carro. A repetir!!

Wunderschöne Unterkunft - wie auf den Fotos
Wir haben den Aufenthalt in der Ferienwohnung in Altura sehr genossen. Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön, geschmackvoll und hochwertig eingerichtet. Es fehlte wirklich an nichts. Mit insgesamt 4 Personen hatten wir ausreichend Platz. Auch den wunderschönen Garten samt Grill haben wir sehr genossen. Der Kontakt zur Gastgeberin war unkompliziert: Mirian antwortete schnell und sehr zuvorkommend auf unsere Anfragen. Wir bedanken uns ganz herzlich für den wunderschönen Aufenthalt!

Uma casa decorada com muito bom gosto, muito limpa e extremamente bem equipada! Com bastantes facilidades para pessoas com mobilidade reduzida (quarto e casa de banho). Um espaço exterior muito agradável para momentos de convívio ou de descontração.

Very Good stay
Charming and well-decorated house. Located at walking distance to the beach. It has a very beautiful front yard with a well-maintained garden which is close to the dinner area. We spent really nice moments there. Bedrooms are nice and the mattresses are very comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped. However, there is a design limitation, for which the owner cannot be blamed, as the depth of the upper kitchen cabinets is too large which creates some discomfort when the sink, located below, is being used. Internet is available and works well with mobile phones but it is a bit slow with laptops. Overall, we enjoyed very much our stay and would certainly come back and recommend the house. The owner and cleaning lady were very kind and helpful. There are nice towns close by. The owner has prepared an useful booklet with plenty information about the house and places to visit.

Perfect family beach time retreat
All my kids and I loved our stay at the property. The photos don’t do it justice. The garden is immense and shaded with a large tree. We enjoyed many dinners out on the garden table. The interior is all high-end and designer finishes for a very comfortable and luxurious experience. The host was very responsive and accommodating to our needs. I would have loved to stay more nights, but maybe we will come back sometime! The beach is more like 1 and half Km away, but is a perfect beach for young children. We all rented bikes and explored the surrounding area. I would highly recommend the place for families, and cannot wait to come back someday!

Mal abgesehen davon, dass es sich nicht um eine „freistehende „Villa handelt, ist es ein sehr schön eingerichtetes Haus, welches alles was benötigt wird, beinhaltet. Der Aussenbereich / Garten lädt zum Verweilen ein. Die Strom Versorgung ist allerdings nicht für einen Urlaub im Winter ausgelegt. Uns ist ständig die Sicherung raus geflogen, was doch sehr lästig und ärgerlich war. Die Kommunikation mit der Besitzerin erfolgte schnell und unkompliziert. Wobei man natürlich sagen muss, das die Strom Versorgung nicht zu Lasten der Vermietung ging. Hier hätten wir uns aber eine schriftliche Betriebsanleitung für den Kamin im Haus gewünscht. Der schöne Strand ist fußläufig erreichbar. Die Lage des Hauses ist für weitere Ausflüge optimal. Alles in allem ist ein Urlaub in diesem Haus absolut zu empfehlen.

Dear Simone, I would like to thank you for your comments regarding your staying and I would like to answer as follows: On the rental ad I mentioned that it is a terraced house. I always payed special attention to my hosts for their comfort and satisfaction and I take your comments into account. Regarding the circuit breaker, I directly remedied the problem after your departure by changing the electrical panel to a new one. I once again apologize for the inconvenience that was beyond my control. An isolated incident which in the future will not happen again.
