"My daughter, sister and 2 nieces stayed at the Lisboans for 3 nights. The location is wonderful and staff very helpful. Even left my daughter a bag of chocolates on her birthday which she noted when we arrived. Staff super friendly and helpful with airport transfers etc. The best part of the experience was fresh bread, juice and pastries on our door every morning. Lots of windows, brihgt & airy. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!"

"Lovely small boutique hotel next to the castle. Staff were very attentive. The courtyard was beautiful for breakfast and late afternoon drinks. We loved the sweets at breakfast. Note that cars are not allowed in this area of the Alfama, which makes it great for walking around, but more complicated for taxis or Ubers. The hotel staff were very accommodating with finding transport for us. "

"Such a unique area and property. The staff were very friendly and helpful with suggestions to best enjoy the experience. The breakfast was amazing. We used the shuttle they arranged and he was spectacular. This is a cultural masterpiece with so much history and flavor. It is not a 5 star luxury experience, it is a beautiful look at at a neighborhood and district you will remember for years. If you expect luxury, go to a 4 Seasons or equivalent. If you want a beautiful setting surrounded by rough edges and a real neighborhood with real people, this is the experience for you. We loved it! "

"The host is great. We are in an area that is in the heart of the city and super walkable to many places that are of great interest. This little square that we are in is full of fun things to see, including a ceramics shop that is full of handmade products and a great all day breakfast place called Dear Breakfast. "

"Hotel is very nice and clean. Rooms are big for Europe. There's internet and TV in every room. They have a kettle and water too in every room Good breakfast too. Depending on the rate you get it might or might no be included. If you don't get it you can pay there too. Xiomara was very helpful in getting us a driver to get to Fatima. She also helped us to get info to tour the city. They have a pick up service from and to the airport. Things to keep in mind the hotel is in a hill so if you want to walk out you have to go up hill or take a car. But the hotel is very close to the castle of George and restaurants and souvenir shops. There's no parking in the hotel so don't rent a car. You can uber or take regular taxi. "
