Check in and check out were a bit problematic During check in we were assured that a room would be ready soon. We waited almost an hour and finally had to ask again and were told the room had been ready except no one told us At check out, the clerk failed to bill us for a meal and we wound up having to pay by credit card while we were elsewhere. A bit of confusion during the communications between us. Ultimately resolved. The hotel itself is great and we ahd a very plesant three day stay

Great hotel, unbelievable breakfast!
Fantastic stay. Great hotel. Great price. Friendly staff. Unbelievable breakfast! Location was great, the only thing that would have made it perfect would have been onsite parking, but to be expected in a city I guess. Would definitely stay again.

Good location for the Hurtigruten cruise but hotel facilities felt a bit outdated. Maybe we were also a little unlucky with the room - we found a broken glass in the room (though quickly changed by staff) and bathroom flooded during the shower. That said, staff were friendly and accommodating when we asked to wait in the lobby for a few hours after check-out. Also lovely sunset view from the hotel terrace.

The property was right on the waterfront and was very quiet. The breakfast was very good and varied, and due to the volume of guests, staff reserved breakfast times to make it a pleasant experience.

Best property under 200 we have stayed at in our 12d Norway trip. Great bfast buffet..the 24hr available margarita pizza is quite good.

Best property we have stayed in during our Norway trip for under 200. Good breakfast buffet. In the wharf area. Walkable to the 418nsteos hike and the pier for cruises Room was spacious.

Ok hotel close to town centre and Hurtigruten. Rooms are very run down - needed a refurb 10 years ago. Lobby area very nice though. Great breakfast.

Great option
The pros of this hotel; The staff are very friendly, the patio view is gorgeous, the lobby is very hip & chic, easy location to get to and travel from, the room was super warm and ready when I arrived from the cold rain. (Also, first television in a Norwegian hotel that had apps). It was clean but not spotless clean and the rooms were not to the same decor level as the lobby. I’m also heard some occasional odd noises through the plumbing (assuming from another room).

We arrived early and hotel refused to check us in despite the room being available. They tried to charge an extra $40 for the extra 2 hours. The following day other guests got to check in early without paying. We felt that the whole situation was very arbitrary. Restaurant staff was very helpful and kind. Rooms were on the small side with basic comforts.

Hotel in nice location, but has parking problem.
Hotel was very clean, cosy and in very beautiful location. Friendly staff. Just problem with parking. It can cost from 25€ per night.

Amazing stay
Me and my daughter stayed there. Amazing service and great staff who was very helpful. Very beautiful interior in the lobby and we enjoyed our stay very much.
