"We had the most wonderful time during our stay at Lazy Oaks! The setting is ideal for escaping from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It is very remote and surrounded by forrest and wildlife. We have a family member who is profoundly disabled and tends to get very loud at times. No problem in this setting, as one can yell as loud as they can, and it won’t disturb anyone! That alone made this place perfect for us. The view is spectacular. It was wonderful to sit on the porch in the morning overlooking the pond, enjoying coffee and taking in the sounds of nature. We really enjoyed being able to use the rowboat and the paddle boat. We were amazed at how many fish were present and how big they were! Next time we will most definitely bring our fishing poles! We really enjoyed sitting around the fire pit at night, making stores and eating too many!There was good communication from the host and the only surprises were good ones. Thank you so much for the perfect retreat. We’ll be back!"
