We are also walking distance to numerous museums including The Albuquerque Museum of Art, Explora Children's Museum, the Museum of Natural Science and History, and the Rattlesnack Museum. Nearby is theTiguex Park, the Aquarium, Botanical Gardens, Abq Zoo, Tingley Beach and the Rio Grande crafts. The compressor can easily freeze causing damage or HOT air to blow in. When you leave please return temp to 75. \-Sofa Bed - not the most comfortable bed. We have added another layer of foam under the bedding but please be aware that it is not the most comfortable bed. \-The complex is regularly treated with non-toxic pest repellent. Still, this property is located in a historic neighborhood in the desert. Bugs are a part of life here in the southwest. While we make every effort to stay on top of pest control and keep the apartments spotless for guests, we cannot completely control nature and therefore you may see the occasional bug. Please be aware of this and make sure you're ok with the possibility before booking. The Neighborhood: We love the historic feel and the charm that Old Town delivers. It's always enjoyable to slow down and spend time strolling through the square and the numerous shops and restaurants available. We feel perfectly safe walking around Old Town both day and night, just sticking to the immediate blocks around the plaza, and around Rio Grande Blvd. Going from Central towards Downtown does have some isolated stretches so it is recommended to use common safety sense as you would in any big city. As former ABQ residents returning for our first visit in years, we knew we wanted a central location near Old Town. This spot can’t be beat! It’s charming, cozy and offers delightful New Mexico vibes we were looking for. And surprisingly quiet considering proximity to the action. Location is perfect for a stroll through Old Town with great shops and stores. Communication with owner prompt and professional. Apartment well stocked with everything needed, and the owner provided a comprehensive guide to the city and suggestions for attractions, restaurants, and things to do in the city. Excellent place that provided everything needed to make our stay comfortable and easy. We stayed at many VRBOs in the past, and this one is by far provided ample information for guests on how to make their stay the best. Well done! ##### Chad S. Apartment was the perfect size for 3 people and very clean. You really can’t beat the location, all of the fun Old Town shops are right across the street and it was an easy walk to Albuquerque Zoo. Only critique would be the shower is on the smaller side and the wide shower head doesn’t really work for the size. ##### Emily A. The building was secure and felt safe. The rental was clean, was well stocked in the kitchen, and had what we needed for our stay. The two things I would mention, and they are meant to be helpful to the owner, are 1) the stools in the kitchen eating area are uncomfortable, they had to back rest - stools with a back rest would be much more comfortable for guests on vacation, and 2) the one and only shower had a very low flow shower head. Yes, it is too low for tall people but it actually took longer to shower because it took longer to rinse off. The shower head needs to have more force, or at least more water should be coming out in a concentrated area. Thank you for the noise machine. It was a nice touch. ##### Deborah L.
