The half-wall between the kitchen and the living area is made of authentic adobe bricks (i.e., bricks handmade of mud and straw). The owners have lovingly restored the casitas on this property and kept what they could of the original construction. Check-in is easy and the owners quickly respond to messages. Located on the edge of Tigeux Park, the location is perfect for visiting Old Town ABQ, the Sawmill area, the Albuquerque Museum, the Children's Museum, and the Natural History Museum. All are located around the park and within easy walking distance of the house. There of us really liked this clean, inviting, charming, comfirtable, and very well located casita in the historic part of Albuquerque. The front porch was delightful for morning coffee.
