Great location near UNM and local flavor restaurants. I provide detailed instructions on how to access the property and provide a guest book inside. Feel free to message us with any questions! Neighborhood: Located in the University Heights area, surrounded by many points of interest including the University of New Mexico, CNM, Nob Hill and Downtown Albuquerque. The area offers numerous restaurants and shops that are unique to the area. While exploring the area, you may stumble upon a painted mural or two done by local artists. This is an Urban area, as with any major city, has a large population of eccentric, transient, and homeless people. This is something for you to be aware of but not alarmed by. When we get the chance we stay in this apartment with our two young boys and feel completely safe. Distance to: Airport: 3 miles Balloon Fiesta Part: 11 miles (we recommend park-n-ride) Isotopes Park: 1.5 miles The Pit: 1.5 miles UNM: 4 min walk Old Town: 8 miles Convention Center: 2 miles Fairgrounds: 3 miles Other things to note: \-Apartment is cooled by swamp cooler during the summer months \-Located in 2nd floor, must climb stairs \-PESTS - The house is regularly treated with non-toxic pest repellent. Still, bugs are a part of life here in the southwest. While we make every effort to keep it spotless for guests, we cannot completely control nature and therefore you may see the occasional bug.
