Swimming Pool, Marina Views This frontline two bedroom apartment is located in the heart of the colourful Albufeira marina, with spectacular views over the marina and across the harbour to the sea. The marina hosts several bars and restaurants, along with activities including boat trips, Segway rides, indoor bowling and indoor go-karts - all on the doorstep to the apartment. Air conditioning provided to lounge and both bedrooms. Internet WiFi included. The apartment comfortably sleeps 4 to 5 people with two separate bedrooms (possible for a further person on a sofa bed in lounge, ask for details). There are two bathrooms, both containing sink, toilet and shower, one also has a bath and bidet. The large lounge is equipped with comfortable seating and entertainment including flat screen TV, Bluray/DVD player along with an assortment of board games and books. A guest safe is also available for use (free of charge). A large dining table and chairs gives spectacular views of the marina whilst dining and outside seating is available on the apartments two balconies. The kitchen is equipped with a range of appliances including fridge & freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Cooking appliances include electric oven, gas hob and microwave. A kettle, toaster and iron are also provided. A spacious shared pool provides somewhere to sunbathe (loungers provided) and to take a swim to cool off from the Algarve sunshine. The apartment is located on the second floor, with elevator access, intercom, CCTV and 24 hour security guard patrols. The apartment also features centrally monitored smoke/fire alarms and fire blanket and extinguisher. This apartment has been furnished and equipped with premium brand electricals from Sony, Bosch & Siemens. Location is ideal being only 40 minute transfer from Faro airport. The apartment is walking distance, along the sea front, to the old town with its many bars, cafes, restaurants and fisherman's beach area. Taxi and bus stops are available directly outside the apartment complex. There are two large supermarkets within easy reach as well as several smaller shops. Salgados Golf Course is ten minutes drive away. Optional extras are available (additional costs may be incurred) including baby cots, high chairs and private secure car parking. When renting apartments in Portugal look for the owners rental licence number known as the “alojamento local” this ensures the apartment meets minimum safety standards and is suitable for holiday letting. This apartment is registered with the number of 25673 / AL. Albufeira council have introduced a tourist tax, which applies to all visitors to the region (apartments, hotels, B&B's). Guests who make a reservation after May 21st 2024 will be required to pay a tourist tax. This is charged at 2 euro per night/per adult or child aged over 12, for a maximum of 7 nights. The tourist tax is not included in the cost of the property booking and will need to be paid before arrival, you will be sent a link to make the payment. This was the"relaxing" part of our 23 day trip to Portugal and Spain. 3 days at this apt where we had everything we needed including nearby grocery stores, both down below the apt and across the street. (The one down below and at one end has more to offer and a bit cheaper). If you're an ice user, they sell small bags of ice at both grocery stores. When we arrived, the property manager (sorry, I'm terrible with names) met us and showed us around. Pay close attention or take notes because what he has to say is very helpful! We walked to old town which was a beautiful walk (took us closer to 30 min). I recommend that you bring swimsuits/towels/ beach wear as there is a beautiful, easily accessible beach that we were disappointed that we didn't have ours with us! Lots and lots of restaurants in the marina and old town. We didn't use the kitchen in the apt because there were so many reasonably priced restaurants within 2-3 minutes on foot. We did use the washer and the outside "dryer" only took 2-3 hours to dry in the afternoon. The balcony with the afternoon sun also had a nice breeze so clothes dried quickly! Plenty of space in the apartment with amazing views. Plenty of bars and restaurants below on the marina, so not far to go for food or drink, 15/ 20 minutes walk to Old town or beach, or you can get an Uber for €4:50\. Stuart was an excellent host, answering all my queries throughout the booking process and lead up to the holiday. I could not fault this apartment in any way whatsoever. I will definitely be back again, hopefully sooner rather than later and I would definitely recommend this apartment to family and friends. This apartment is fabulous, so clean and spacious with everything you need, the quality of the apartment, location and cleanliness was excellent. The added extras for the pool etc were a welcome surprise and I purchased a beach throw and added to these along with toiletries etc so future guests could also benefit. The balconies overlooking the marina were perfect for morning coffee or an afternoon read. The apartment had everything we needed and the walk to and from Old Town was great. If we didn’t want to walk, the bus was close by. The Irish Pub below us was a friendly local spot for meeting people and watching sports. Lisa, who met us on our arrival was helpful and both she and Stuart were available to answer any questions we had. My only criticism would be a more comfortable couch would be perfect. Jun 19, 2024 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Spacious apartment with amazing views On arrival we was met at the apartment by a lovely man who's name i can't remember who showed us around the apartment, and the first thing we noticed was how spacious it was, much bigger than the pictures we had seen, and we could not help but notice the amazing view from the balcony overlooking the marina, we arrived at night so it was all lit up and bustling with life along the marina below, the property itself was very clean and had all that we needed for our stay in albufeira. There was only two of us so we had a choice of bedrooms, two bathrooms was a bonus here so we had one each, the balconies are great for sitting and watching the boats & yachts coming and going while having a morning coffee or an evening meal. I was also glad it had a lift as i have a bad hip so walking up stairs wouldn't have been comfortable, The pool was lovely not too cold and great for a dip and sun loungers, this place overall was a delight and a great find, probably the best apartment we have stayed in, and we have been to albufeira several times. Great as a base for those long walks in the sunshine and close proximity to the old town. The hosts Stewart and Caroline communications with us every step of the way was very professional and and helpful and i would like to thank them for letting us stay in their beautiful, spacious and amazing view apartment.
